QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 11:16 AM) FutureSox.com ‏@FutureSox 1m Roster moves: OF Adam Engel promoted to @WSDashBaseball, OF Chevy Clarke promoted to @Intimidators from @gfvoyagers. I would imagine that Jacob May is heading to Birmingham as well. He was pulled yesterday mid game and this move puts Hawkins, Engel, and Coats in the WS OF. May to the 7 day DL

Micker 3-5 with 2 doubles. Atta boy.

Good hitting night for the system

What if Hahn was able to get Giancarlo????

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 10:50 PM) No doubt it's an improvement, but he went from mowing down everyone the first two innings to getting into trouble in almost every inning after. Baby steps though! Lasko did say that Johnson pitched better than what his line was.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 10:01 PM) Also, watching Ravelo hit from that front angle, getting a better idea of his bat speed. He starts late, but he's real quick the bat and makes up for it. I like it. And still like Smith's swing, short and quick, with some power. Announcers were saying Ravelo only played 2 years of HS ball....

Lindstrom gets torched again

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 08:32 PM) Guess who left the game after getting hit on the hand by a pitch? Yep, Avi And it was in play and was out on the play. Unbelievable.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 07:54 PM) And yet not even a hint of any thoughts by Hahn of promoting either Danks, Wilkins or Josh. That's pretty telling. It's not September yet. It'll be interesting to see what Hahn does this winter.

Davidson 2-3 Semien 0-1 with 2 walks

QUOTE (oldsox @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 05:43 PM) Pretty good rankings right down the line -- except for one guy. Davidson. I just don't understand why he is ranked so high after the year he had, like it doesn't count. I can see somewhere in the bottom half of the top 25, but not #7. Where did you have Hawkins after the year he had last year? Hawkins has rebounded a little bit this year. This is Davidson's first bad year in 6 minor league seasons and a brief MLB stint.

QUOTE (ptatc @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 05:19 PM) Not very realistic. What if the opposing team had all miguel cabreras? Not very realistic

Baez with another homer lol

Off topic from Beckham and I don't want to start a new thread but, Has there been any rumors or anything on any Sox players clearing or being claimed on waivers? Let alone being put on waivers?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 08:45 AM) It's a good move. Nothing likely to come from it. I agree, but if they were negotiating a deal, just wonder what the Phils would ask back

Supposedly the Cubs put in the line waiver claim on Cole Hamels...

Official visits so far: August 29 Jalen Brunson September 5 Jawun Evans September 13 Jimmy Whitt September 19 Elijah Thomas October 3 Shake Milton

Charlotte- Johnson Birmingham- Recchia Winston Salem- Rodon Kannapolis- McKenzie Great Falls- Clark AZL & DSL- TBA

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 6, 2014 -> 08:45 PM) That Charlotte lineup has been something else as of late. If they had any pitching, they would be real good.
