This just in: HSC's New Year's Resolution was to find a way to get to Hinsdale sometime this summer to get a reach-around from CLee.

I'm all for this, since Colon will probably REALLY get up for pitching against his old club. Buehrle appears as if he's as good as he's ever been, and will only get better as the season progresses. I think Buehrle will be a great leader for this pitching staff, and that his entire pitching staff will bear great fruit, because they won't have to worry about the Nardi factor! It seemed as if the pitching staff improved last year once Nardi left, which convinces me that Nardi was, in fact, the problem here. It'll be interesting to see how Buehrle and the rest of the pitching staff panns out in their first full year without Nardi heading them.

Archie clearly should've never been given the "C" at the beginning of the season. He can't shoot, can't play tough, can't be vocal, can't be a leader. The ONLY thing he can do is pass the puck!!! Sully is the only one I'd consider to wear the "C."

I don't put anything past KW This is, afterall, the guy who acquired K-layton and his Hundley-esque bat. BUT, he acquired Colon THIS offseason! Don't let HSC fool you...Aside from LAST offseason, KW hasn't been bad. David Wells looked great in hindsight, and Colon is hopefully gonna be a stud. I'm not going to be all hard on KW now.
