  1. Jason, Don't you wish they played like this in the beginning of the season, especially when they were having those huge losing streaks? Imagine how different their record would've been! This is becoming actually something worth watching. I'm waiting for a good year next year from them.
  2. So, what did Frank say on Sports Center today? Has his approach changed? Is he going to the wide-open stance? Has he had significant psychological help this offseason?
  3. Be prepared to heckle em real good, cuz the Sox are gonna rip up their competition...well, until the World Series, where, according to an article on ESPN.com, they will lose to the Cubs.
  4. Oh, that's *really* gonna hurt our economy! They probably don't even eat fast food, and there really aren't many people living in that area, so they are a non-factor in the big scheme of things.

You know, I was thinking...The deciding factor that pushes SoxNet over the top... We have SoxAndRoll, and they don't!! 9 more days until SNR starts their second season of existence, baby!!!
  6. Sorry, didn't see Baggio already started a thread about this when I posted it.
  7. I miss Mike South!!! Was completely getting excited over his possibilities this year in SNR...
  8. I heard something like that....I guess that in 69, the Cubs were f***ed.
  9. In one week, the day will be dawining where our Pale Hose take to the field for the first time this season. A little FYI...I will be hosting a "prayer service" for good health this season in the Soxnet chat room at midnight Monday morning, Central Standard Time. All are welcome to join.

And I personally LOVE how "loose" this board is. Just the right fit for me.

Ummmmmm, WE HAVE A CHAT ROOM FOR THIS!!!
  12. Your wish actually isn't unreasonable for him. He'll for sure be a 20-game winner. Happy birthday, Mark Buehrle! May you have a very soxessfull season ahead, and lead us to the promised land.
  13. Starting Rotation: Buehrle Colon Garland Loazia Wright Bullpen: Wunsch Gordon Glover Koch Marte White Batting Order Jiminez Valentin Thomas Ordonez Konerko Crede Lee Rowand Alomar Bench: Graffanino Daubach Borchard Harris Olivio
  14. You must realize that it was the Montreal Canadiens fans who booed, while the Toronto Maple Leafs cheered. Montreal happens to be in the French speaking part of Canada. Draw your own conclusions here.
  15. Here's something else you may wish to add...The White Sox have finished with a better record than the Cubs in 40 of the past 50 years!
  16. I'm a dude and I have no tattoo's I do want to get the MetallicA crazy man on one arm and the SOX script on the other though. You could have a compromise here and have an SNR tatoo put on! Displays your love for the Sox and rock music.
  17. It's all right, CK! I'll let it slip THIS time!
  18. Ya know, CK, I was thinkin....Maybe if YOU do more broadcasts, I'll be a little more lenient here! Mmmmmmmmmmmkay?
  19. Mike, Your new site is b****in!!! Now that's the last positive thing I'll be saying about SNR all season long. I will assume the duties I assumed last year!
  20. Woo Hoo! I'm all for this. Loazia has had nothing short of an impressive spring training, from the stories I've been hearing. He clearly deserves this, and now our rotation looks like it could take us deep. Buehrle, Colon, Garland, Loazia, Wright...That isn't very shabby at all! I'm stoked about our rotation!
  21. If the sportswriters voted for the starters I might agree with you. But clueless baseball fans, most of them casual (see: Cub fans) choose the All-Star starters..... not the fans that have as much baseball knowledge as one should to vote for who should REALLY start for an All-Star team. Ummmm, CubKilla...I thought it was the manager of the all star team who chooses the pitching staffs. Last time I checked, fans don't choose the pitchers.
  22. I actually think he could beat out Zito or Pedro. It all depends on the first half of the season panns out. If he has a lower ERA and a higher win total, he will be selected over the other two. This being HIS ballpark also helps out in his favor.
  23. clujer420, Your avatar is awesome! I love Jr. Asparagus!!! Anyway, I've been having a countdown on the corner of my dry erase board on my door since last month. I can't believe I get to make it single digits tonight! This is getting exciting! We're about to wittness Chicago history here!
  24. Well, he's actually got a manager who will literally kick his ass if he doesn't get his act together, so he's pitching out of nervousness for that actually happening.
  25. I'm gonna personally smack RPS in the head for giving you what he's been drinking!!!
