Right, because that's basically a "neutral zone" right on the line. If he kept one tippy toe on the line and then the puck crossed, he'd be fine. But with both skates in and not on the blun line, with the puck just crossing the line, it's off-sides.
I'm not sure if I will ever understand hockey rules lol. It look like his skate was over the blue line but I assume since it was in the air and not on the ice he was considered off-sides
