  1. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 09:21 PM) All fastballs? Jeez, throw a slider or something. Shouldn't throw 13 pitches to 2 batters He threw one to Burns
  2. Sale looks like he gained about 3 pounds
  3. Wasn't hard to see the first player/coach dipping. lol
  4. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 09:13 PM) mlb.tv not working on Roku, f***ing awesome. MLB.tv has been s***. There isn't a consistent stream ever
  5. That kind of looked like a balk but could have been the camera angle
  6. Well that si a good way to start I guess lol
  7. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 08:53 PM) First pitch is scheduled for 905 but the CSN countdown says it's at 9? That is probably when they go to the stadium, announcers talk about opening day, line ups, commercial, game
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 08:03 PM) I just signed up. Does it work in Chicago for Sox games? I know they made some changes to the blackout rules. Probably not but there are ways around it.
  9. QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 06:42 PM) Agreed. Hill is a journeyman (he actually started the A.J. / Barrett fight game back in 2006 for the Cubs), a left hander, a spot starter and is simply an OK pitcher in my book. How many of those guys have shredded the Sox in the past? The Sox say they have a different team this year, consider tonight an excellent opportunity to start changing their perception by lighting this guy up. Mark The good news is: we have a different team then most years and I think we can have more success against these types of pitchers.
  10. Navarro starting! Robin getting right so far
  11. Is it just me or does Soria never come set?
  12. Out of all the national chains Pape Johns is by far my favorite. Also love Imo's (St. Louis thing)
  13. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 2, 2016 -> 12:26 AM) Sox win 5-3 Oh man, from some of the comments I thought we got killed then got to this post. Thank you
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 01:35 PM) Rollins had a great spring. He earned the job on the field. No one was going to play as many games at SS as Alexei did. Very few in all of baseball play that often. Exactly, it isn't like he hit .200 this spring, he hit .350 with 4 home runs. He earned it and I think we have a very capable back up in Saladino who will still get some playing time with the age of Rollins.
  15. QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 03:12 PM) Not terribly interested unless the Rays want to pick up $7 of the $8M left on his tab. If they cut him we don't have to pay that do we?
  16. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 02:55 PM) Bears watching Neil Solondz ‏@neilsolondz 1m1 minute ago #Rays James Loney has been told he will not make the team. Not sure if will be traded or put on waivers Interesting. I would rather have him then Ishikawa
  17. Jacob May staying this long with the team really shows how much the organization likes him as a player. I hope he has a big year in the minors this year
  18. I usually always get The Show the day it comes out but decided to wait it out this year. I hardly played the game last year and not sure if it is even much different from previous years. How is the RTTS this year? I think I will wait for the OS rosters
  19. QUOTE (raBBit @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 09:00 PM) RF Eaton, SS Rollins, 1B Abreu, 3B Frazier, LF Cabrera, DH Ishikawa, 2B Lawrie, C Avila, CF Jackson Bench: OF Garcia, INF Saladino, C Navarro, OF Shuck Rotation: Sale, Quintana, Rodon, Latos Danks Bullpen: Robertson, Jones, Duke, Putnam, Jennings, Petricka, Albers Oh for the love of god Ishikawa betteer not be the starting DH on opening day.
  20. QUOTE (Dunt @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 06:49 PM) Anybody nearly as impressed as I am with Saladino? His stroke is looking great I have only seen great things from him when I have seen him play but seems like he has no chance at starting with Rollins here
