  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 01:24 AM) Wow...Hoffman changes things quite a bit. Looking better and better from the Rockies' side of things at the moment, without even taking into consideration the 4th player. Essentially, they're saving about half the money they would have had to pay Tulo, they're getting a player in Reyes who might be just as if not more productive and adding essentially a Top Five caliber arm in Hoffman, a top young reliever and another piece. Good move if you're the Rockies, although he was their franchise player. Someone was guessing Marcus Stroman (asking price for Cueto), but that would be insane for the Blue Jays unless they know something nobody else does about his medicals. The Jays did offer lefty Daniel Norris, No. 1 pick Jeff Hoffman and outfielder Dalton Pompey in talks with the Cleveland Indians for right-hander Carlos Carrasco. Thought that was interesting, from the Toronto Sun. We also were offered a better glimpse into the true value of Quintana and Sale. Some of their sportswriters in TOR are giving up on acquiring a starter and begging AA to go after Kimbrel instead to solidify the bullpen and copy the KC model/blueprint, pairing Kimbrel with Schultz, Osuna, Aaron Sanchez and Brett Cecil for innings 6-9. Where did you hear that? Indians would be stupid not to do that deal
  2. That seems like a really low value for Tulo unless the other 2 prospects are some good ones
  3. Sounds like Castro and Reyes for Tulo. There has to be more minor leaguers then just Castro
  4. Dodgers are trying to trade Guerrero, any interest?
  5. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 12:18 AM) Toronto has plenty of firepower. They'll get a pitcher by Friday. I personally hope they lose the next 2 days and we win both and don't give them s***
  6. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 11:55 PM) Deals for Shark to TOR and SF in place. The deals are sitting there. KW is still "all in" on '16 and Rick is not so there's that drama right now. I wonder if this TOR deal for Tulo effects that now
  7. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 12:06 AM) In the process as we speak
  8. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 12:04 AM) Then don't have the same exact handle as that other guy! I was here first. We get mixed up all the damn time. I think there needs to be a petition for a name change
  9. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 12:01 AM) Then why do you keep proposing this? That is the first time I ever mentioned that! And I didn't propose it, simply suggested it might be something COL wants to do Get your posters straight
  10. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 12:00 AM) Dude, we ain't trading Anderson for CarGo. That would be one of the worst trades in recent history. Not saying we are going to do that, just thinking what the Rockies will want to try and do (get a SS prospect)
  11. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 11:59 PM) If Hahn trades Anderson for CarGo I will be super pissed, no way he's worth our top prospect. I would be as well. We never produce hitters so it would be nice to actually see Anderson make his way up and produce for us
  12. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 11:55 PM) CarGo will most certainly be moved before the deadline. If they treat dealing him like a salary dump, then I'm game for a trade. Acquring him would definitely be a risk, but one that might be worth taking if it's only primarily money at stake. They might trade him to us to try and get Anderson now
  13. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 11:50 PM) Dude it's essentially a salary dump trade only they also get back a quality player. Better then putting Tulo on waivers and just hoping someone eats the whole contract. I get it now! lol I didn't even think about that in my first thought
  14. LeTroy Hawkins going to Jays too
  15. Why do the Rockies want Jose Reyes?
  16. Wow because they need more offense. I wonder how much they gave up
  17. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 10:09 PM) Albers pitched a lot too. Tomorrow we basically have Putnam, Jennings, and Duke. Duke has pitched 3 days in a row. We have Webb as well. Luckily Jeff usually goes 7
  18. Just keep winning. 1 game at a time.
  19. Finally!! We win!! 5 in a row!
  20. Now Robertson can't pitch tomorrow
  21. Have to be kidding me. Why wouldn't he throw a curve?
  22. And now the ump is shrinking his zone
  23. Oh man, I just looked at the schedule for August. This will be tough
  24. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 09:34 PM) This has the atmosphere of a World Series game. Have you seen a world series game?
