Right. Sounded kind of like hearsay, but like we've all seen, this shouldn't really big a big surprise to anyone watching this team. They've lacked killer instinct and the ability to string anything together. Bob also said TLR likely won't be manager next year if Sox miss playoffs, but doesn't see him getting fired. It'll be a "promotion" to FO or organization ambassador.

And yep. Gotta rest these guys up for the ASB. These games aren't important or anything.

Yep. To say this is a critical week would be an understatement. Based on what we've seen from this team, I am expecting a 3-5 week and heading into the break with a whimper. But I'd love to see 6-2 or better....would sure brighten the outlook and attitude for the 2nd half. Fingers crossed.

What benefit would Stone have to leak this to Bob, and then get on the radio and lie about it? Seems unlikely. Unless this was leaked by a player, there has to be a motive. I don't think Stone really has a motive here.

Well if its an anti-TLR campaign from KW, I am all for it. The other angle floated is some sort of campaign to place blame on players instead of coaching is one I cannot get behind. Not that the players are not at fault, they deserve plenty of blame. But a manager's job is actually pretty easy - put the players in the best position to succeed on a daily basis and foster a clubhouse that is pulling in one direction. It appears TLR has failed miserably at both.

James Fox insinuating on Twitter this leak came from KW. Trying to wrap my head around what that accomplishes from KWs perspective.
