Is Chapelli required to stay in the DSL for a set amount of time this season? He's 20 YO, so I don't think a stateside assignment in a month or so would be crazy.
  2. Just keep scoring runs.
  3. I am not too concerned about Cleveland. Though I'd love to see them pound the Twins next few days. Realistically though, the Sox can't really worry too much about other teams until the put .500 and below in the rearview mirror for good.
  4. 1 game doesn’t change how awful he’s been but it was indeed a nice game. He’s not as bad as he’s been, that’s for sure.
  5. Chapman is just incredible at 3B.
  6. Tray is typing up a message on his defense and baserunning as we speak!
  7. Looks like Josh is here to stay for now. Big hit
  8. Moncada is out for a week. He’s the 3B.
  9. Exhibit A why we need Moncada.
  10. Didn’t miss watching Chapman steal hits from out boys since our visit north.
  11. ❤️❤️ TA ❤️❤️
  12. Good luck with that, Garrett.
  13. Ehhh. He’s been really bad, but the Sox need Yoan and need him playing well if this team wants to turn this season around.
  14. Not exactly a new development over here.
  15. Always seemed to be the move. Not really sure it changes much for 2 days. They wanted to see if Yoan would be alright before losing him for 10 days. I don’t think Sheets 0-8 last 2 days would have been a game changer.
  16. Fully healthy? Yeah probably not. In terms of not losing key players for long stretches? I think they can get a little more lucky in that regard in the 2H.

He literally just went 5-6 in the game prior to the tweaked hammy. He needs to play if he can, not take time off to get his head straight. Sox can still retroact to Sat even tomorrow.
  18. I don’t think that last sentence is necessarily accurate based on the health of the team and the schedule to date. It’s not a stretch at all to think the Sox best days of 2022 are ahead of them. But absolutely none of it matters if they play .500 or worse ball against MN and Cleveland.
  19. It could be something. He always gives good info in these meetings. I wish they were live-streamed. But just the mere existence of it doesn’t mean bad news is certain to be forthcoming.
  20. They won’t be moving on from Eloy anytime soon. He’ll get plenty more chances after future injuries that are certain to occur. Sox should, on the other hand, expect to be without Eloy for long and frequent stretches of the next 2.5 seasons and plan the roster accordingly. At this point, any real sustained production from Eloy should be projected as a luxury. It sucks; but it’s reality.
  21. He meets with the media the first game of most, if not all, home stands.
  22. While this is typical for the first game of a home stand, let’s hope Josh Harrison is the main topic of discussion.
  23. I’d love to end the Harrison experiment today; if you don’t today you pretty much have to in a couple weeks anyway. But I think a Yoan IL stint is most likely.

Id be surprised if they sent Haseley back down after 1 day. Not many options tho. Also don’t really see how they send down Mendick at this point. Also missing Foster coming back next couple days.
