TA to begin rehab assignment Tuesday
Sounds like TA could be back by Friday.

Eloy rehab starts again 6/21
Sounds like he should be in there tomorrow.

Eloy rehab starts again 6/21
Eloy's rehab was supposed to restart today, yet he's not in the lineup. Jeff Cohen did tweet a video of him doing BP earlier today.

GT 6/14 White Sox (28-31) V Tigers (24-36) 6:10 Chgo
Yep. 7-8 out of Dylan would be swell.

Yeah, pretty sure TLR has said VV is starting.

I don't hate the idea. Martin can't be worse than the last handful of guys we're throwing out there right now anyway. They may want to keep him stretched out for eventual Kopech insurance down the road, though.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
TBF, the Sox stretched the lead in the bottom on the 8th. Still shouldn't have used Hendriks tho.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
That would be sensible time to use the worst reliever in your pen, instead of high leverage 1-2 run lead spots that TLR loves to deploy Sousa. At least he's Charlotte's problem for now.

At least he didn't hit the IL today. Did someone report this or are you just speculating?

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Yes, cause Hendricks pitches for the Cubs. But, yeah. Again, still doesn't make the decision making any less idiotic.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Hopefully just one of those deals where he wouldn't be ready until the weekend so they're giving him extra time and getting a fresh arm up. Unfortunately, he's now out until the the 26th best case scenerio. Just praying this isn't a long term issue.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Yeah, the comment was tongue in cheek. He didn't get hurt cuz he pitched Fri. Doesn't make the bullpen manage decisions on Fri/Sat any better, tho.

Fire Tony - Then What?
There is a 0% chance he wouldn't be a significant improvement. Just throw an interim tag on him, if he isn't great, keep him on MLB staff in 2023 as a manager in training and do an actual hiring process for a competent manager from OUTSIDE the org.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
You do realize that Sousa was also warming up, right? Instead he went with Hendriks with 5 run lead to save Sousa for a high leverage spot on Saturday, which he failed, and the Sox lost.

Fire Tony - Then What?
Jirschele would be my first choice. But It'd probably be McEwing.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
well he did get hurt needlessly pitching in the 9th on Friday with a 5 run lead.

"Forearm strain" never something you want to hear with a pitcher. Hopefully Liam is alright.

Martin up too.

GT 6/14 White Sox (28-31) V Tigers (24-36) 6:10 Chgo
Is today the day Sousa finally goes? Sounds like Kelly is gonna get activated for tonight, so someone has to go. Imagine its either him or Banks since they were both used yesterday. Would be odd to go with Lambert, Crick or a Ruiz DFA since they could have done that yesterday to get a fresh arm up and they didn't pitch yesterday. Typing that our just reinforces how sad this pen is right now when we have 5 guys that shouldn't even on the roster. 2 of them should be gone within next 18 hours as someone has to go for VV as well.

6/14 Games
Should be an inteersting lineup down there tonight with TA, Eloy and Sheets. Hopefully Perez is back in action too so we can swap him out for Zavala soon.

It's time to put Jose out to pasture
Nah? You honestly think this lineup is well constructed? You're nuts. The White Sox currently have the worst left handed hitting in the leauge...by quite a bit...but a career 136 wRC+ against RHP wouldn't help? Yeah, OK. Yes, Grandal has been awful. That hurts. Joc Pederson wasn't the answer, though he'd be worlds better than Gavin Sheets or running with an everyday lineup without a single natural left handed hitter.

It's time to put Jose out to pasture
Well, not making a move for a competent LH hitter was an awful decision that rears its ugly head literally every game. Conforto would have been an awesome fit. This team would be so much better with him if he was healthy. Turns out he was hurt all offseason and it wasn't really public knowledge until mid Spring Training but the teams knew about it all along. So he was never really an option...unfortunatelybecause we need someone just like him.

It's time to put Jose out to pasture
Weren't you one of the posters constantly championing Sheets this offseason and how the Sox shouldn't spend $ on any actual competent LH hitter because it would block Sheets ABs?

It's time to put Jose out to pasture
To say that this team wouldn't miss a single beat without Jose is a pretty enormous stretch.
