  1. Why do they keep calling that stupid f***ing 0-2 high fastball? He's not even close with them and then goes full. He's done it 4-5 times atleast already. You're just throwing away pitches. If Flowers is calling this game, he needs to take a f***ing seat. Happy Soto starts tomorrow.
  2. Can't locate that breaking ball at all. Where is the change up?
  3. Q needs to pick up the pace. Lucky Aviles is an idiot.
  4. Down Brantley and Gomes, these are two games the Sox need to win.
  5. Sale used quite a few changeups on Sunday. Didnt seem to need the slider much.
  6. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 14, 2015 -> 10:13 AM) Difference between pure hitter and impact bat. Guys like Anderson, Barnum, even Davidson fall into the latter category, but maybe only Anderson (if that) fits into the former. Peter is a pure hitter who could bring value, but his ceiling is very limited. You want some Jake Peters, but you want Anderson/Barnum types more, and in big numbers because of the flop rate. So if he hits like he did last season, you dont think Peter has some fringe top 100 value? It would be quite a jump, but in a small sample size so far this season, he's looking to build on last season. He is still somewhat age appropriate for his level as well.
  7. Anderson 3-5, 2 RBI, 1 E
  8. Longoria might be their superstar, but no one was showing up when that team was competitive. I see no reason for them to not listen to offers and nab a couple nice prospects.
  9. I couldnt pull up anything on the app despite reading the directions and trying multiple times. Went up to a window and they gave me a GA ticket.
  10. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 13, 2015 -> 09:04 AM) Matt Wieters and Evan Longoria I can see as targets. I was really hoping Longoria was a trade target this offseason. He would be one of the few players I wouldnt mind giving up a bit for in terms of prospects. Eaton Cabrera Longoria Abreu LaRoche Avi Alexei Soto Johnson That would be a dangerous lineup
  11. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 10, 2015 -> 12:57 PM) I'm so excited to see where Adams goes after his insane pro debut last year. I don't expect a 17 K/BB ratio or whatever it was, but if he can continue a 5+ K/BB, I'll be very pleased. So will Rick Hahn
  12. QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Apr 10, 2015 -> 10:20 AM) I don't know that I'd say I am tired of seeing him already, but I must admit that I am not overly impressed yet. Seems to swing at a lot of low garbage pitches.
  13. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Apr 10, 2015 -> 09:12 AM) Abreu and Garcia go yard today. Definitely feel like Garcia has a big weekend
  14. So you're saying there's a chance? http://nesn.com/2011/04/history-proves-mlb...stseason-party/
  15. Better come ready to play this weekend. The rest of the division has already came to play.
  16. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 9, 2015 -> 09:29 AM) Someone posted after 4 innings into the first game of how pathetic the team is. Its just a place to vent more than anything as an admin told me a couple days ago. Which is true. Some of the smart baseball minds even vent in some s***astic ways in the game threads. This. As someone who has voiced themselves in the last two game threads, the last two games were frustrating for me. I know the season is long, this team will be up and down, and ultimately, they will probably be a better this season than last. I still want to see the win though b/c I love the Sox and I hate boneheaded mental and physical errors.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 09:53 PM) KC getting every borderline call the last few innings. Duke continues to look awful, as he had nothing in ST He looked the best of any of the relievers so far IMO
  18. I'm not one to usually complain about umps, but this guy is trash.
  19. Guess Robin knew what he was doing... @CSNHayes: Lefties hit .217 w/ .630 OPS vs. Javy Guerra last season. Righties hit .280 and had a .777 OPS.
