  1. When Mondasi first got to Toronto he was a fan favorite for hustling his ass off, a new team could revitalize him. He was a nobody on the Yankmees.

    ahhhhhhhh..... Best of luck!
  3. Not to take anything away from your post but, Leetch and Gonchar are horrible defensive defenceman, you realize, they are part of the big liability for both teams. The Rangers are very short on defensive defencemen, Leetch and Poti are both essentially defensive leaning wingers out there and their team defence is brutally slow. Too much cash spent of offensive defencemen. Jussi Markanen just refuses to be a good #1 goalie, always awesome backup numbers but blow when put into the top spot. The Rangers suck and Sather is so out of touch with hockey it's not even funny, his current team would be a decent team if the NHL were in mid 80's style, but in todays NHL, not even close to matching what has shown to be a succesful looking hockey team.
  4. s*** the Buffs are my team too, (Bad taste alert) the chicks couldn't have been that good 'cause the team sure sucked.
  5. Pretty entertaining comeback though. I'm tennis ignorant, why is Safin unseeded, wasn't he really good 3 yrs ago?
  6. If he comes back and takes money somewhere else instead of giving the Bulls first crack, though I'd say that's pretty weak.

That's in Vancouver, not even near Ottawa.
  10. It's been butt cold all over this f***ing country this week, almost hit some record cold here the other day, 6 degrees too warm.

I never said it was a bad thing for the globe, I think my response was entirely centered about my own situation, hence the recurrence of the word I in my previous post, I know some people who love Dr. Phil and Oprah, just doesn't work for me that's all. When I first heard there was a Dr. Phil show I thought Phil Donahue had come back and was calling himself Dr.?
  12. I'll save someone more petty than I the trouble You mean Tommy Maddox

I dislike the concept of solving the world in 50 minutes, I'm sure I don't like the books she suggests, don't like the fact that she capitalizes on all the shortcomings of others, but can't really say I hate her since she has no affect on my life whatsoever.

What the hell is American cheese?
  15. I would have been awesome if Ann Murray had taken that chance to sine Blame Canada at the oscars, but Robin Williams did a nice rendition none the less.
  16. I know a kid who does photo journalism who could probably help with hockey stuff, or if you were in a pinch I could moonlight myself. Looks neat on the surface when I get a chance I look a little closer.
  17. One of the few books I've read. I'd watch it.

If I can enter your country with a birth certificate and picture I.D. it has to be at least as easy to get into ours. Ottawa is nice but a tad pricey for my tastes. There had better be flights in being our capital and all. I really liked the museum of Civilization and I enjoyed the tour of the parliment but I had our MP tour me and got my picture taken with the Prime Minister. In the winter there is always stuff going on with the Rideau Canal. The Sens are about 40 minutes out of Ottawa which is a pain in the ass for most visitors. There is an abudance of women there given the nature of the civil service, but that won't help you much I gather. That's all I can think of off hand, but not bad for someone who live 3 days drive further away than most of you.
  19. That is a very clever man (or woman). I can only marvel at those so much more elloquant than myself, yet admirably sany and resonable.
  20. Why the 2 Canadian jokes in one thread, am I missing the joke?
  21. Anyone who thinks it would change anythings is confused.

  24. I saw Dean as a fence sitter on the Iraq thing so I find it odd he is praised here for his forthrightness, Lieberman is a Republican he just hasn't figured it out yet, Sharpten ect. Blah. Kerry very vague and to surprizing results leaning on the Vienam veterans crutch. I guess that means people should vote for Jello Biafra in November.
