  1. Ha, well, this is true. I lost a lot of respect for both after those absurd tirades.
  2. But Sale was a part of the same chorus with Eaton if I remember correctly.
  3. I would hope they would give Yolbert a shot before rushing Sosa to the bigs, but it would be very White Sox to do so.
  4. Maximum Tony definitely benches Vaughn for Sheets, and somehow rotates Leury around every single position throughout the game.
  5. What's the record for consecutive runs scored via the walk?
  6. Or, since he’s proven yet again he can’t handle posting on a message board, log off and get some help finding healthy outlets for the obsessive negativity consuming him.
  7. 4 consecutive complete games, 11-1 in the post season, and a World Series sweep. When will we ever see that in the post season again? Fluke team/outlier for the organisation, sure. What the 2005 White Sox did was unlike anything that’s been done in modern post season baseball. Those accomplishments should be cherished more and more as the incredible moments that they were. Time will not diminish what will likely never be replicated or repeated by any other team.
  8. Is he though? Seems perfectly aligned with the normal paranoid doom & gloom / all is always lost paradigm.
  9. Sarcasm aside, it’s hard to have any controversy when TLR has sucked the life out of the club. Hard to be out of line or controversial when everyone is just as lifeless as the corpse manager.
  10. There is no roster crunch save for TLR making one. Sheets & Harrison can and should be the first to go. Neither contribute much nor offer anything special or unique to the roster. Both are sub-replacement level and won’t be missed. They have already sent Burger & Mendick down to keep the aforementioned, no reason to do it again when the former are actually contributing and the later aren’t.
  11. Oh yeah, Yaz just really needed one more AB today
  12. It was obvious Gio was tiring in the 5th. But TLR is epically clueless with bullpen management.
  13. A real RF with decent speed probably gets to that.
  14. Always trying to milk another inning out of a starter. TLR never learns.
