  6. Engel likes Wrigley it seems
  7. Rain is supposed to move out after 6, but it will be windy and chilly.
  8. I would take him for the league minimum. Hard to be worse than our current DH options. Can he play a more passable RF than Sheets? Only half kidding with that last question.
  9. Give me a sweep at Wrigley and go from there.
  10. I will take a series split with Trout & Ohtani over another series loss!
  11. You are arguing that both suck here and now. That may be. All I am saying is that Burger deserves a longer look. Burger might not amount to anything more, but he can at least play a passable 3rd where as Sheets is just awful anywhere you put him on the field. Simply being Left Handed means jack shit to me if you are starting to look like Daniel Palka.
  12. Burger has a mere 98 plate appearances in the bigs in 31 games. You do you, but maybe, just maybe, give him more time than that.
  13. Burger can play 3B, that at least adds some value. Sheets can't defend at all and shouldn't face lefties. Palka was also a terrible defender, but he was at least fun bad. Sheets is just bad. Burger at least deserves a longer look than he's gotten so far.
  14. Burger might still turn into something. Sheets is Palka 2.0.
  15. At least he stayed alive to get TA into 2nd.
