Dane Dunning (2-0, 2.33 ERA, 28K, WHIP of 0.93) vs Aaron Civale (3-5, 3.80 ERA, 59K, WHIP of 1.20) Sox are 2-4 vs Cleveland on the season and 1-1 vs tonight's starter Aaron Civale. Sox dropped the 1st matchup 4-3 on July 28th. Civale went 6.2 giving up 2ER but K'd 9. Sox won 2-0 on Aug 7th, Civale went 7 giving up only a single earned run while K'ing 5. Sox come in sputtering a bit after dropping 2 of 3 in ugly fashion in Cincinnati. Sox are 2-3 in their last 5 after a 6 game win streak.

Det 3-0 Min 3-1 Cin 1-2 Expected a Minnesota split and at least 2 in Cincinnati. I'll take that trade off despite the ugly weekend.

Everyone stays healthy, Moncada and Robert get hot, and Bummer returns strong. Take 3 of 4 from Cleveland to clinch the division and go into the last series with nothing but seeding on the line.

2 with Detroit and 3 with these same Reds fighting for their playoff lives. If they lose tonight its a tough climb.
