Would be great if these were televised.  I wonder if Marquee will cover the cubs.

Will be interesting to be able to get some real eyes on some of these guys again, especially the lower level guys who could be primed to break out.

Nice, when I scanned this yesterday I thought it was just referring to sox holding their own camp in AZ, not that it was organized ball. Glad we'll get to hear reports more freely.

Will be interesting. Normally, not a lot of information from instructs, but this year I bet there's more coverage. Or at least I hope there is cuz I'm jonesing.

Definitely good that it can happen. Intrasquad stuff is not bad but different than the real game. Longenhagen mentioned this in his chat, he said those camp intrasquads are not great to evaluate hitters because you face the same pitchers over and over again which makes it different.

There are a lot of exciting under the radar players on the list.

Great to see Lambert's healthy.  Pulling for Burger and Hansen to recoup past glory.

called ittttt.  Big Kelley fan here.

Is there a place to get more updates and info on the instructional league?

Is there games or just simulated games and intrasquads?

I never got why there could not be a AFL this year, if games are played in a bubble.  Other than money, of course.

There are actual games. It's tough to get updates. We tried to send Sean Williams and cover it but the White Sox said that no media is allowed currently.

I think the real AFL might have been more players and games and thus higher cost for the conduction of the games under the bubble circumstances.

It's disappointing that the Sox are being so secretive about these games. A team like the Mariners (for example) is tweeting about full box scores that include exit velocity for hitters. Just cluing beat writers and fans into what's going on would be nice.

Yeah, does anyone have any notes on the last month or so?

I heard very good things about DJ Gladney, Ben Bailey, Jared Kelley and Matthew Thompson. Without media there though, it's impossible to get much outside of speaking with some of the prospects who were in attendance.

Gladney seems like an exit velocity god.  Fegan also said Dahlquist has been good.

Gladney hit 3 home runs in the frst 9 games.
