Yeah, given that we basically know who the champion is already, my goal is to be entertained. Lots of young talented teams like Denver that should at least be fun to watch.

They're probably a playoff team though. That offense is legit. Between Jokic, Murray, Harris, Barton, and Millsap, they have 5 guys who have the ability to be efficient 20 PPG scorers on less crowded teams.

Dunn (personal), Valentine, and Markkanen out. This should be fun!

Sort of unrelated I think they need to alter the minor league nutrition plans too. Before Luis Robert got here, he had a remarkably healthy diet. Then he got to Kannapolis and found out that all players were able to eat was Domino's pizza, McDonald's, or greasy ballpark food. Now from his social media it appears that he still primarily eats that stuff.

Actually feeling decent about the team going forward. I'm not worried about the defense, I don't think that the weather effect yesterday can be emphasized enough, especially because they didn't implode until the 3rd quarter. But the offense is showing a lot of promise and that's really what we needed to see, since we have a lot of reasons to believe that the defense is good or even great. I love Nagy's playcalling, when it's not overtime that is

There's just no way you could form that opinion based on the games you've watched this season. I don't care what happened in the 90s, or 2008, or even 2016, this is basically a brand new staff and roster and none of those data points should matter. The team that has taken the field, recency bias aside, is clearly a good football team that doesn't "suck".

If you're gonna constantly share opinions that can easily be outed as biased or nonsense, there should be a reasonable expectation that you'll receive backlash.

I agree that he's been good overall. Hell, he's been great overall as a playcaller. But late against Green Bay and in OT against Miami, he throws it all away and plays how "conventional" coaches would. I want to see him break out of that.

Of course there's no guarantee, but there's a higher probability that it works given we had run the same exact play twice in a row and the defense was completely expecting another one. It's not about what's guaranteed or isn't but what gives us a higher chance of winning, to me. I want to see more aggression from this supposedly aggressive coach

But the bottom line is, despite all the poor play, the coach had a chance to put us in position to win the game in overtime and he failed to even try.

Lots of blame that can be thrown around today, and that PI on Burton that nullified the 4th TD pass was questionable at best... But despite all the miscues, the Bears had every chance in the world to win in overtime. Unfortunately, "super aggressive" Nagy decided to become ultra-conservative. His defense was, "if we passed [on 3rd and 5 in OT] I'd be standing here responding to you asking why we took a sack". So, in essence, he's coaching based on media criticism and not winning games. Obviously passing could've resulted in a sack. Or a touchdown. And running it could've resulted in a fumble. The hypothetical game is great, but there is a higher probability of a 1st down on 3rd and 5 when you pass while the defense is expecting run, instead of running right into them. Playing conservatively for 54 yard field goals is what has caused all these ties and overtime losses in the NFL this year, and this style of playcalling is what cost Nagy in KC and against Green Bay last month. If he really trusts his quarterback so much (who has been very good now for two straight games), he needs to let him throw the ball and increase the odds of a shorter field goal.

I could actually see a case for Lopez having it because he always says in interviews that his issue in starts is his focus, which would easily correctable for a pro athlete

I know that Apple computers have apps available that can record screens like that. The risk you're taking is your computer going to sleep in the 3 hour span, or the app automatically stopping the recording during the game due to the file size being too big.

Unlike last year I expect faster movement too. No big names signing in February. Teams know that this free agency is different and I expect Machado/Harper to receive their best offers by mid-December at the latest.
