QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 01:31 PM) I assume you are saying that Saladino had a higher batting average than Rollins last year right? Because Rollins had a fairly significantly higher OPS. Saladino hit for a .2245 average last year while Rollins managed a meager .2243. A difference of .0002, or roughly 1 hit in every 5000 at bats. But yeah, let's give him the starting job because of it over Rollins who is a former MVP out to prove himself again and is looking revitalized this spring. Saladino is out to prove himself as well, so that point is moot. Looking revitalized this spring? So is Matt Davidson... spring training stats don't matter.

QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 10:01 AM) I don't get the fascination with Ishikawa at all. No way should he be your DH and batting 6th to start the season. I don't get the fascination with Rollins. I mean, he deserves to make the team, but I still think Saladino is the better player. That aside, it looks as though Rollins will be our #2 hitter? I'd much rather have Melky or even Austin Jackson there than a guy who hit worse than Saladino and Flowers last year.
-
IMO, we should've kept Sanchez or Davidson.
-
Ishikawa's left-handedness is nice, but it would also be nice if he hit higher than .222 since 2013.
-
Also, I'm still a bit worried about our outfield defense. If we DH Garcia, then that still leaves Melky in LF and Eaton playing RF. We can't really know how he'll adjust
-
Not sold on Ishikawa.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 07:52 PM) This beats the piss out of having to DVR the game, putting my phone on airplane mode and then watching the Sox get wrecked like last year. How old-fashioned... I wish I had the strength to follow through with that. Well, even if I did, I'm sure someone would ruin it for me in person

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 05:06 PM) I'm not a huge fan of West coast games, but will take the ability to watch an opening day game live on TV than being forced to watch delayed on DVR or follow on GameCast. Also, we don't have a day off following opening day this year, which is also a huge plus. Nothing worse than waiting months for your first real taste of baseball only to have to wait two more days for your second serving. That was especially horrible last year after Opening Day left a bad taste in our mouths

It's not about his personality, it's about his horrible, below-Mendoza-line batting. No thank you.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 27, 2016 -> 09:50 PM) Are the Hawks back or is Western Canada just this f***ing bad? probably both but I won't complain!

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Mar 26, 2016 -> 06:02 PM) Bulls literally have 0 excuse of losing tonight. Vucevic, Oladipo, and ilyasova are not playing tonight. Also, Orlando on the 2nd half of a back to back lol

Saints match Bears' offer sheet on Hill
-
Rollins overrated, Abreu/Q underrated
-
Dan Jennings in the 'pen, and I'd bat Jackson 2nd and Rollins 8th (switching them)
-
Derrick Rose dunked

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Mar 24, 2016 -> 01:22 PM) Bears resign WR/KR Deonte Thompson to a 1 year deal. Good. He was light years ahead of Mariani, returning-wise

QUOTE (Tony @ Mar 23, 2016 -> 11:30 PM) Here you go https://m.imgur.com/qRjXvpx Wanna give us the White Sox player ratings? I swear, if Eaton is a 79 or below...

Dan Hayes @CSNHayes 2m2 minutes ago Two starts ago, John Danks tipped his pitches and Dioner Navarro caught it. Since then he's put up 11 straight scoreless innings.

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Mar 22, 2016 -> 08:34 PM) I've noticed that it has become harder and harder for me to lose myself in the movie going experience, the more filmmaking I do, the more I learn about the craft and what goes into it as I climb the ladder. I noticed this when I saw The Force Awakens, I was so excited and pumped up but when the movie started I could stop thinking about how they did stuff, why they made the filmmaking and aesthetic choices they did, etc. rather than losing myself in the film. I thought the movie was great but I couldn't enjoy myself. Ever since that, everytime I see a movie for the first time in the theater it's been like that. Does this make sense to anyone? Yeah, I experienced something similar when I would play video games after I had taken a class in game programming. "I wonder what code they used to make ___ happen..." etc. rather than enjoying the game

Kane's slump of sorts has me worried he won't even reach 100 points

Sager has 3-6 months to live. Damn.

Josh Hill... so will Miller be our catching TE and Hill our blocking TE (if NO doesn't match)?
