  1. f*** the scorekeeper! Especially if this keeps up...
  2. A .091 hitter vs Chris Sale. *grabs popcorn*
  3. Speaking of no-hitters, Astros RHP Mike Fiers has just thrown one.
  4. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Aug 21, 2015 -> 09:44 PM) sale is absolutely filthy tonight. He has no-hitter stuff tonight. Thanks again, Seattle scorekeeper.
  5. Sidenote- how has that leadoff "double" not been changed to an error yet
  6. Nasty. 3 strikeouts. Still don't get how that wasn't an error though
  7. Sale's ERA, which we really need to be lowered, will be hurt by the dumbass scorekeeper
  8. It's also very nice to see Franklin Gutierrez back and healthy. He has played just 173 out of 648 games (26%) since 2011.
  9. Mark Trumbo has rebounded, somewhat. That's good to see
  10. Nelson Cruz is hitting .320??! I know he has 36 homers, but I didn't know he had such a high average.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 21, 2015 -> 09:06 PM) And that took how long to happen, even after he got to the majors? It still hasn't happened
  12. Sale coming off a 15-K performance, Felix coming off 2 IP ~10 ER. I say Mariners win 7-0. Felix CG SHO with just 3 hits allowed. Sale goes 5.1 innings, allowing 6 earned runs. I just don't trust Sale on the west coast.
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 21, 2015 -> 05:05 PM) Seems like the same thing was said about Hector Santiago not so long ago. Hector Santiago is still very overrated. I believe his ERA/FIP differential is massive. That being said, I still believe Montas is a future closer. He can't even average 5 innings per start in the minors.
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 21, 2015 -> 01:54 PM) I believe the Red Sox still have some their top bullets in the minors though, correct? Don't they have a big time catching prospect, plus Yoan Moncada? That is a good starting point. For Chris Sale, that's nothing. Boston prospects are always overrated, too.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 21, 2015 -> 01:44 PM) The Cubs would have to take from their major league roster, and I don't see that happening as easily. The Red Sox, who would probably have a hard time trading guys like Bogaerts and Betts, would have to do so as well, FWIW. edit- meaning they won't want to let go of them, just like the Cubs won't want to trade their mlb talent
  16. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 21, 2014 -> 10:04 PM) LHRP LH DH LH OF RHSP RP RP I think these are the remaining moves we make, possibly a few more cheap ones. The OF doesn't necessarily need to be left handed anymore. That could make him easier to find. (Another infielder or a catcher are also possible but unlikely moves at this point, unless they come via a Ramirez trade.) Hey, I was spot on with this (Melky, Samardzija, Robertson, Jennings), and I'm usually way off on these predictions.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 21, 2014 -> 07:56 PM) Eh. Hopefully this isn't the big signing of the winter. ha QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 21, 2014 -> 09:41 PM) I'm sure he will struggle to hit .240. If only.
  18. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 21, 2015 -> 12:53 PM) I could see the rumors already of Dombroski going after Sale this winter after what he said at his press conference earlier this week. *rolls eyes* The Red Sox cannot and will not produce a package that is equal to or greater than Sale's enormous value.
