  1. And he'll stay there. HBP
  2. Abreu has been stuck on 33/99 since 8/31.
  3. 3-0 on a Wilkins RBI single. About time
  4. QUOTE (BaconOnAStick @ Sep 13, 2014 -> 04:58 PM) Jose Quintana with the elusive negative FIP for this game! -.018! How does that happen?
  5. 8 of last 9 were Ks... 13 overall
  6. 6 SHO IP. Probably one more in Quintana. 11 strikeouts.
  7. Jose Abreu replied to jasonxctf's topic in Pale Hose Talk
It would be cool to have a stadium like PNC Park with some tall buildings like the Sears Tower in the background, not some cheap apartment building behind the RCF fence like at The Cell. That being said, I don't think we're moving out of our stadium anytime soon.
  8. Prayers to Stanton... that's terrible
  9. If Sale finishes with a sub-two ERA and Felix is around 2.15, it'd be a crime for Sale to lose the Cy.
  10. Oh please. We're not going to throw a game to attempt to get a former player into the playoffs. I hope this is a sarcastic post; he's Adam Dunn, not God.
  11. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 10, 2014 -> 10:56 PM) How about H back? Possibly.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 10, 2014 -> 10:43 PM) He's still a well below average fielder at this point in his career. Fast in a 40-60 yard sprint isn't quickness, and that's why he will never be a basestealer...above 8-10 per season. He also isn't "first step quick" in terms of his outfield jumps and reads. On the other hand, he would make a great fullback in the NFL. I see him more as a tight end.
  13. 2014 A's = 2014 Brewers = 2012 White Sox
  14. I think we'll finish 71-91. I'd be OK with that, draft pick-wise.
  15. He'll be stuck on 99 RBIs forever...
  16. enough with the no out double plays
  17. Abreu might not even beat the Sox franchise rookie HR record anymore. It seemed like a sure thing at the ASB, he just needed 6-7 more.
  18. Yeah, Alexei has been doing everything in his power to keep Abreu from 100.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 10, 2014 -> 03:56 PM) This is an exchange from two days ago, so I am guessing it is an old picture from when he signed or something. Robert Burnett III Wow sorry I missed u... What's next for u??? September 7 at 6:29pm · Like Tim Anderson Robert Burnett III going back to Arizona to do training until next seaso September 7 at 6:30pm · Like Oh, thanks. I knew it was too good to be true.
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 10, 2014 -> 03:50 PM) On where? I'm not seeing it on twitter. I saw it on his Facebook.
  21. There's no way Tim Anderson was called up, right? He posted a picture of himself in a Sox jersey and people are commenting/posting to him "congrats on making it all the way" and stuff
  22. Is this Adam Eaton's rookie year, or did his 62 games from last season count? If this is his rookie year, then he should definitely be on that list along with Vargas and Shoemaker.
  23. DV now with 20 HRs. Needs 6 more for his most in a season.
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 9, 2014 -> 09:14 PM) Anyone know the biggest decline in power before/after ASB in MLB history? Jose Abreu and Brandon Moss come to mind this year, although there must be worse ones in the history of MLB.
