  1. Also MLB.com released their fantasy rankings: Sale was 34, Abreu 131, Jones 184, Ramirez 191, Quintana 200, Eaton 213.
  2. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Feb 2, 2014 -> 11:31 PM) I put some stuff together, check it out Wow, I didn't expect much but that was damn good.
  3. QUOTE (StRoostifer @ Feb 1, 2014 -> 09:32 PM) Where did Rasmus name come from? Is he the only LH outfielder? I never even menioned Rasmus. As for the pitchers, I'm done talking about them. There's 12 pages worth of reasons NOT to sign either on of them. Name a better LH outfielder? I don't know if there is one but I just can't think of one right now. I'm sure there has to be one though. Just thought of Cargo. So is there anyone else?
  4. Semi-related to banner/photo making: Most boards have a poster that makes cool videos relating to that team. Do we have one?
  5. QUOTE (raBBit @ Feb 1, 2014 -> 12:06 PM) Buehrle's flip between his legs Opening Day 2010/2011 (can't remember which) "Look at the play by Buehrle!" Already got it
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 1, 2014 -> 11:15 AM) And IIRC, Jenks had blown the save in the 9th too, correct? http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CH...200607010.shtml No, he got it.
  7. I'm not saying that some people have forgotten big events like Buehrle's perfect game. I'm saying we- all of us- must have forgotten at least one thing on the list (until now). If you can make a list of Sox moments since 05 off the top of your head and have it include everything on this list and more, then good for you. But the point of this thread is to just remember all the moments the Sox have had- some smaller than others.
  8. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:03 PM) I just realized so much White Sox stuff has happened since 2005 that I've forgotten about. Please add whatever you can remember and I'll add them to this master list: 2006 or later please! -Buehrle perfect -Humber perfect -Wise catch -Ramirez glove flip -Ramirez grand slam record -Ramirez grand slam VS DET -Buehrle flip -Ramirez flip -Iguchi defensive play (06) -B2B2B2B HRs -2008 Playoffs -Jenks consecutive batters retired record -Buehrle consecutive batters retired record --------EDITS START HERE------- -Thome walk-off 500th -The 2012 season (Youk, Dunn's homer to keep postseason hopes alive, Rios' slide, etc.) -Konerko/Dye B2B 300 career HRs -Frank Thomas' return -Gordon Beckham walk-off vs Cubs (rookie year) -Pierzynski/Barrett Incident -Game 163 (Griffey, Thome, Danks) -Buehrle's Other No-Hitter -Paulie stays in game after getting HBP in face, hits HR 1st pitch next AB -Ozzie pulls team off field as Twins fans hurl objects at our players -Pierzynski scores from 1st on a ground ball -Andruw Jones HR #400 -Viciedo's Walk-Off vs Seattle (2013)
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 31, 2014 -> 03:51 PM) Dayan Viciedo's walk off homer against Seattle April 7 last year the first day they wore the 83 jerseys last year. added
  10. QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 31, 2014 -> 10:09 AM) Andruw Jones 400th HR. Added
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 31, 2014 -> 05:32 AM) Then why is it listed in a thread titled "FORGOTTEN White Sox moments"? Because we forgot a lot of these, so I'm just making a list of everything we can remember.
  12. Added AJ scoring from 1st on a ground ball vs OAK
  13. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 10:46 PM) He homered in game 2 of the ALDS after Graffanino's error, maybe that's what's you're thinking of. That extremely overrated defensive play of his took place in 06. What's overrated about it?
  14. Added this. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3514056
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 10:12 PM) Also you forgot the no hitter QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 10:15 PM) Here's one: Two years ago, Carl Pavano hits Paulie in the face. Despite Herm's protestations, Paulie angrily refuses to leave the game, jogging down to first while pulling away. Next time he comes up to bat, still against Pavano, he goes yard on the FIRST PITCH. Paul Konerko is a f***ing badass Added both
  16. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 10:05 PM) How do I imbed the video though, rather than just link to it? I'm relatively new here. I'm not sure if you can.
  17. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 10:01 PM) That who stretch to get to the playoffs in 2008 was incredible. Thomes solo shot to beat the twins 1 0 in the playoff game. Ken freaken Griffey throwing a runner out at the plate. The blackouts. How could I forget Game 163!
  18. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:59 PM) Back-2-Back-2-Back-2-Back HR's by Thome, Konerko, Ramirez and Uribe in 2008. Probably one of the most fun games I've been to in a while. That was great. I remember Toby Hall trying so hard for the 5th one.
  19. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:58 PM) it was awesome when shingo retired 29 straight and 26 2/3 scoreless innings in 05? Yeah, that's true. The list is for after the WS championship but that was a great moment too.
  20. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:55 PM) A lot of these are hardly forgotten. But I'll add B2B 300 career hrs by Konerko and Dye. Likely will never be done again. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:56 PM) Frank's return. Gordon's walk-off hit his rookie year. I think vs. the Cubs? Sox-Cubs brawl. Added. Buehrle>Wood, yeah, many are not such as the PGs and 2008 playoffs. But I just remembered things like the B2B2B2B HRs and Buehrle's consecutive batters retired record.
  21. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:49 PM) Feck it. Can anyone help me out here? And sure I'll add a 2012 one
  22. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:49 PM) Feck it. Can anyone help me out here? I remember those- don't post the message board tailored link, just copy and paste the link on the top of your screen.
  23. QUOTE (Al Lopez's Ghost @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:30 PM) Thome's walk off 500th homer. Added
  24. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:30 PM) How do you forget Buehrle's perfect game? I didn't, it was one of the first on there. -Edit: In fact, the first one on there.
