Finally some good news!!!

White Sox coaching staff announced (List in first post)
I like this. I think I would rather have Katz at pitching. But I'm ok with Hobbs. I guess there's no room for Darryl Boston.

You had me at Portillo's hamburgers.

White Sox coaching staff announced (List in first post)
Looks like Detroit has assembled most of their staff. That's nice. Meanwhile here in Chicago......... crickets.

Offseason Targets
And not to mention he played with the bad shoulder his rookie season.

Abreu Silver Slugger
Is this the first time there are 3 whitesox winners in the same season? Edit: Yes it is. We've had 2 winners 4 times. The last time 2014. This is the first time with 3 winners.

Abreu Silver Slugger
And a testament of how good this offense really was.

Offseason Targets
This might discourage a number of teams interest in him. Maybe the sox too.

Offseason Targets
Was it tjs? I knew he was hurt this year.

Offseason Targets
I see Tommy Kahnle elects free agency today from the Yankees. He pitched in only 1 game this season. But was decent in 19. In 18 was terrible.

Pitching Coach and Bench Coach
This is what I want. But Harold already said that Tony will be bringing in his own people. And we're probably not going to like it. Either way we will probably know the fallout pretty soon and who the new staff is.

Tony La Russa named Manager
I actually kind of like the post. At least he admits that there are some out there that don't support this move. I guess now he has something to prove. I'm also really curious about what he thinks of this team. The bullpen, the pitching staff in general.

Tony La Russa named Manager
I just don't pay attention to him. But that's a good point.

Tony La Russa named Manager
Oh I agree completely! This is my worry too. Also, it really does concern me that not a single player (veteran or otherwise) has tweeted out support about their new manager. I realize as fans we probably had a bit of an overreaction to this yesterday (sarcasm). But I do tend to think we as fans are a bit of a barometer of how the players feel with this too.

Pitching Coach and Bench Coach
I guess I'm confused. I don't see how that's a power grab for firing Ricky. Which was well deserved and as you said agreed upon. He kinda threw Ricky under the bus after the Cubs game. With Cordero throwing at Contreras. Which led to RR and Cordero's ejection.
-
Pitching Coach and Bench Coach
So do they really think Rick is going to leave?
-
Pitching Coach and Bench Coach
No, Canseco is strength and conditioning. ?
-
Tony La Russa named Manager
Well yeah!!! I imagine Tony's interview looked brilliant compared to Willie Harris'. Lol

Tony La Russa named Manager
The Stone poney!
-
Tony La Russa named Manager
Well I do wonder about our hitting coach. Is his job safe?
-
Tony La Russa named Manager
Yeah that's what I thought
-
Tony La Russa named Manager
This is kinda unprecedented isn't it? Someone coming out of retirement- already enshrined in the HOF - to continue to do what they were put in there for
-
Tony La Russa named Manager
No. At least not officially
-
Tony La Russa named Manager
Why would that be?
