  1. We'll see how ToddFather finishes this season but I could see them locking him up sometime during the end of the season.
  2. I personally want to see Miguel for another start. See If he can build on this and be better.
  3. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 11:59 AM) I was kidding too, so who really needs to lighten up? Sox are 14-6 I'm as lit as ever
  4. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 11:04 AM) Not everything is about you. This is about Chicago White Sox - our faithful brethren and poster. He's the GOAT OP. Good morrow to him once again. Wonderful avatar from you sir. I would expect nothing less from you. I was kidding. Lighten up Francis
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 09:24 AM) Stop baiting threads. We all get it, your posts are infallible and you never say a bad thing about the sox in fear of it being thrown back in your face like you love to do to everyone else. Exactly. No one can be a little gun shy with this teams recent lack of success.
  6. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 06:51 AM) Chicago White Sox is our lucky charm. The Sox have won just about every time he's made a game thread lol. I'm 2-1...just sayin'
  7. Ugh we usually suck against knuckleballers to my recollection. However this team is special and has a really good feel about them. I'd like to know when the last time we scored 5 runs with 2 outs?
  8. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 10:18 PM) Gonzalez wasn't good but he did face Toronto. I'd rather roll with him than Danks personally. This. He also made his debut this season. That's a tough first start for anyone let alone a season debut. Toronto can rake. Take this win and don't look back.
  9. So the Tigers CF Collins lost a ball in the lights at Comerica. Then after being booed proceeded to flip off the fans. Haha I've never seen that.
  10. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 09:54 PM) Just need to try and minimize the 5th starter spots, as obvious as it seems. A "rotating 5th" might not be the worst idea until late June when the trade market gets a bit clearer. Exactly. We can rotate Danks, Gonzalez, Johndon, Turner until the market opens up. Just try and steal some of those wins like tonight.
  11. At least I got to see the top of the 7th.
  12. Eh..id rather have a right handed Danks than a left handed. At least Gonzalez gives us another righty for awhile
  13. QUOTE (soxforlife05 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 09:54 PM) He could've easily given up 3-4 HR in this one. But he didn't
  14. It's ok that Gonzalez got roughed up. First start of the season for the Sox in Toronto. I wasn't expecting a shutout lol. I'll take it. Offense needed to pick him up and they did
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 09:10 PM) Wow I kind of gave up on this game after it was 5-1. Offense was a pleasant surprise. I've learned to not give up. So I was watching the craziness lol
  16. Missed this game because it didn't record. f***! But love the win! Seen the bases loaded situation though. This team is crazy! Love them
  17. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 11:14 AM) Some things to ponder regarding our offense: -We're #28 BABIP. Victims of bad luck? -We're actually #6 at not striking out. -Our propensity to walk is not great, but with a little improvement we're at 8% as a team and basically that'd be middle of the pack MLB. When you consider all that, I think it's actually possible that the one true weakness/let down is the team slugging. Everything else actually is on track with being part of the chaos you can expect in small sample sizes early in the season. We did pick up our BB rate this past week. Guys started taking walks.
  18. Well see where we stand in another month after Gonzo gets starts and more starts out of Rodon and Latos. I could this staff being the most underrated easily
  19. I'll be a little pessimistic just because it's in Toronto and we don't hit well. Just get one and I'll be ok. We could win 2 but I don't see us sweeping this. That would really light this fan base up
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 08:05 AM) Gonzalez career vs. TOR: 7-3 w/ a 2.61 ERA in 76 IP Gonzalez career @ Rogers Ctr: 3-2 w/ a 2.82 ERA in 44.2 IP Maybe there is hope???? He has a track record of pitching well. Just keep them around 3 runs in 6 or 7 innings and we'll be ok.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 07:52 AM) I think you should put your new tv down to watch the game. But that is just me. Seems like it would be kind of heavy Naw man I'll be like the boom box guy in Batman and I'll just hold it up and watch our wonderful pitching and timely hitting... Just bought a 55 inch Curved 4K smart tv. Stoked.
  22. Prepare for the worst hope for the best then right ss2k5?
  23. Bigsoxhurt35 replied to Dunt's topic in Pale Hose Talk
No thanks. Like others have said with that contract on back issues hell no.
  24. Bought a new tv. Will pick it up and watch this game. Can't wait

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 24, 2016 -> 10:12 PM) Sure, let's take all the douches everyone hates. Can we get Papelbon too? No because LaRoche isn't here for him to choke
