I agree, I think Tauchman and Slater were good signings and even though it’s a rebuild you still need some veteran presence to help the youngsters along, having Benintendi around helps also.

Off topic question but why are most Soccer stadiums especially in Europe and now in America built with right angles in the corners copying the field, should be some curvature like American Football stadiums so fans don’t need neck surgery after a game as they have to be craning their necks quite a bit. That was one of the bad things about old Comiskey if you were sitting in the low boxes down by the foul poles.

Of the 4 professional sports in America, MLB is in the worst shape, it’s the have’s vs the have nots plus owners who are willing to spend and those who won’t, how can teams compete with the Dodgers and Yankees who have payrolls of over 320 million dollars. MLB definitely needs a salary cap otherwise we might see some franchises dissolved.

Getz needs to shake the roster up, start by DFAing Rojas and Palacios and trading Robert for anything they can get for him, anyone down in the minors would be better than those 3. PS Schriffen is an idiot.

Season not even half over so I hate to jinx things but in this day and age I never thought I would see a team as bad as the 2024 White Sox but here we are a year later and the Rockies are reaching new levels of suckage.

We’ve had quite a few winnable games with damn good pitching but the offense is just pathetic.
