Anyone’s guess when the Sox will be competitive again.

Wow, that’s a big surprise.

What an ugly game by the Sox. I’ve seen better baseball played by A ball teams.

Because we have an idiot GM who doesn’t have a clue.

He’s had plenty of chances to make good and failed, time for someone else.

And you knew that Altuve would come through with a hit. How does a MLB ump miss that call.

He’s had all the chances and just can’t get the job done.

That’s the difference between good organizations and organizations like the White Sox.

I would be happy if they could win one game a series which I believe would give them 43 wins and avoid being the worst team in the modern era. That’s pretty bad that things are so lousy that I’d be happy with 43 wins but it is what it is.

Bottom line is Grifol was a horrible manager of a horrible baseball team put together by a horrible GM who answers to a horrible owner.

That’s the first thing I thought. As and old timer I think the game is in a good place right now and, I like the new rules which have sped up the game, I really think that we don’t need any more new rules, it looks like MLB isn’t happy with the bullpen starts which is why we will probably see 6 starters on a team soon.

Never in my most horrible nightmares did I envision the White Sox falling to the depths we have seen this year and it’s not over and as you stated this can go on for years.

I will never understand why Jake was traded.

I agree that Kopech was a head case but bottom line is the White Sox just don’t hire the best Managers, GMs coaches and scouts not only at the Major league level and also the Minor League. I would bet that Robert, Eloy, Vaughn, Sheets and Benintendi would have all been better hitters with good coaching along with the right analytics. Of course it goes back to to Ebeneezer Reinsdorf who won’t spend the money to bring winning baseball to the Southside.

Just proves that every dog has it’s day.

We need everything, it’s been years since we’ve had a MLB rightfielder or second baseman.

Strat-o-matic was the greatest baseball game ever. I ran a league when I was stationed on a semi-remote Air Force Radar Site in South Dakota in 1966-67. Ran a league with this exact Eagle Toys Hockey also, wasn’t much to do in South Dakota. No one could beat me at that game. Sorry for getting off my topic.

More anti-Reinsdorf signs are needed, every fan should bring a sign during the Yankee series, JR has destroyed the franchise and the fan base, I’d like to see security try to remove 30,000 signs.

Even though he’s pretty lousy in LF I’m hoping he finally has figured things out, let’s hope so because he’s got 3 years left with the Sox. Maybe if he’s on fire the last month and a half some team might take him off our hands.

I don’t think Stone needs to be a Rhodes Scholar to figure that out.

We have no idea what the roster will look like next year. This could be an excruciating off season with the roster winding up being worse than the horrible cast of characters we have had this year.

Just heard the news about Grifol being fired as we were on a cruise, hallelujah but there is so much more that has to be done, it won’t happen but JR needs to sell and the new owners would have a monumental job of cleaning up this mess.
