I remember that 1959 4 game sweep in Cleveland fairly well, at the time it was considered crucial, the Sox came into Cleveland with a 1.5 game lead and after the sweep had 5.5 game lead, White Sox fans were just about dancing in the streets and it was just a matter of time before the Sox would clinch their first pennant in 40 years and of course they clinched it and again in Cleveland on September 22.

Someone might take the gamble for the rest of the year just so it’s not the White Sox.
