I’ve lost all confidence in Getz, a lousy resume cheap hire guy by Reinsdork.

Just DFA him, he’s lazy, stupid and useless and will bring absolutely nothing in a trade.

I agree that the hiring of TLR was a huge mistake and I said it from the beginning, taking it a step further I think LaRussa lost the team over the Mercedes incident and there were also the comments of Anderson comparing himself with Jackie Robinson and claiming that he is the best player on the field, I believe that’s when the dissension on the team started.

I’m a little confused, am I mistaken by comments made by Getz and Grifol that they think they have a team that can compete this year. If that is the case then I have no confidence at all with Getz going forward, never had any confidence in Grifol, he’s a joke. I might have got carried away with my comments about the Burger trade being the worst in Sox history because I’m as pissed off as ever with the state of things with the franchise, anyway the Burger trade though not the worst was still a bad trade.

Might go down as one of the worst trades in White Sox history, this franchise is self destructing.

I hate ESPN but it’s hard to argue their analysis of the Sox.

It’s just about a crime what Getz has given us this year with this roster, I’ve never been this depressed in all my years as a Sox fan, I don’t whether to cry or scream.

I’ve been a fan since 1952 and in 1970 the Sox drew only 495,000 but without looking it up there are years in the 1930s that IIRC they only drew around 350,000 . EDIT They drew 296,000 in 1934.

I thought last years cast of characters was bad but what we have this year is not even close to a Major League ball club, this is beyond embarrassing and you are correct, no Sox fan should spend a dime on this franchise, Reinsdork has brought this organization down to its lowest level since the 8 Black Sox were banned from baseball. I have my thoughts of why this is happening but I’ll keep them to myself for the time being.

Who else is there?

That will be one of the happiest days when those 2 weak minded fragile losers are gone from the White Sox, If they DFA’d these bums today I’d sacrifice losing every game the rest of the season to see these guys out of here.

I really don’t know what the plan is with the garbage that Getz picked up this offseason.

A win today would put us on pace for a 54-108 season, that’s about right.

Something happened to the team after TLR was hired, it might have been the Mercedes incident but after the 2022 All Star break things starting going south as the team went from very good to mediocre to one of the worst Sox teams in history. The team played hard for Renteria and we will always wonder what the results would have been if JR hadn’t canned Ricky. In one respect Grifol is a victim of circumstances but his managing last year was absolutely horrible and he is very unlikable, the man should have never been hired in the first place.

Unfortunately the only person who can fire JR is JR. I’ve detested this the man since 1982 when they brought in Sportsvision and you needed a special antenna to pick up the games, what a fiasco and how stupid as the Cubs were televising all of their games on free TV on WGN. JR and EE showed what kind of scum they were when they were interviewed after the Sox clinched the 1983 Western Division and they defamed Harry Caray, Harry knew what he was dealing with those 2 and wanted no part of them as he bolted to the Cubs in 1982. Just about every move JR and company has made in his 43 years of Sox ownership has alienated Sox fans and some wonder why Chicago is a Cub town by at least a 60-40 margin.

Roland Hemond did inherit a mess but through some shrewd moves was able to improve the Sox by 23 games in 1971 over the 1970 team that went 56-106. Getz has put a team on the field this year that will problem have trouble winning the 61 games that last years team was able to achieve.

Wouldn’t that be a hoot.
