Bukvich and his 6.14 ERA is the man for the job.

The umps know we stink. if the pitch is close, it's a K. pretty bad when you don't get any respect in Tampa.

Send Masset to Charlotte. Promote Gavin Floyd. Guys who can't thrown strikes are killers in the big leagues. As for Hall, his shoulder ain't right. And everybody with any sense runs on him. I would.

Logan Johnson
Ok, I'm exaggerating. But just a little. Johnson, the Sox pick in the 20th round out of the University of Louisville, has four doubles in six at bats in his first two games at Bristol. He's also been hit by a pitch, one of his specialties. The Sox are playing him at third, not first. Long climb to The Show. But it's hard to start much better than that.

White Sox vs. Devil Rays, 6/25/07 (W)
sox no runs on two hits. Rays one run on no hits. What new? Also Tampa telecast had a feed saying Toby Hall has not thrown out a runner all season.

Which prospect would you want to see play in the majors the most?
Floyd and Richar. Floyd has earned it with his results lately. No need to torch the confidence of any of the younger guys. Our established starters have pitched OK and lost. Why do something that could damage the psyche of the younger guys? Starting pitching has not been the problem. Relief pitching has. As for the position guys, Collaro isn't much of a prospect. He strikes out nearly once for every three at bats in AA. Bourgeois is a reject from at least one, if not two teams. His early numbers at Charlotte were beyond his normal production. Richar is probably our second baseman of the future.

And that's pretty much a White Sox season...
tough to be much worse than 5-22. scores will be more lopsided, but we can't lose at a much more consistent rate. This -- 5-22 -- is like the 62 Mets.
-
And that's pretty much a White Sox season...
my must go list: Mackowiak Uribe Gonzalez Dye Anderson MacDougal Thornton Masset Thome Cintron Bukvich. Walker

I think I say this on behalf of most of the people here...
not sure whether to laugh or cry. I predict at least one, if not two trades, will be made tonight to get the minds of the White Sox Nation off this slag heap of a team and begin talk about the future. Let the heads begin to rolll.
