I believe Jerry Owens has ZERO RBIS in 63 mlb at bats. he has ZERO chance to be a productive every day player. he's a fifth outfielder at best. His only plus tool is speed. average fielder. below average arm way below average power. below average hitter. if he plays for the Sox every day, we're going to be baddddddd.

we'll probably never know what was really said in the meeting. I hope KW told Konerko another week to 10 days. he is indeed a four-year senior. dropped this far because of average speed and an average arm. like most prospects taken that late, he's a longshot to make it to the majors. But he does have solid pop -- leads this team in HR -- bats left handed and does not K at a high rate for a power hitter (29 in 265 at bats). He could be Wally Backman. He could be outta the game in three years. We'll see. His bat makes him somebody who deserves a look.
