If the pitching is on, particularly the starters, this division CAN be won. Unfortunately the offense is way too inconsistent. There are a few players named Wise and Fields that just need to go. When (if) CQ comes back, Wise needs to be released. Anderson is the back-up outfielder. Fields needs to be sent to the minors or traded, your time is through Josh, sorry. Maybe some NL team will pick you up. Nix can back-up 2b SS and 3B, when needed. Call up Daryle Ward to be a lefty bat off the bench who has a little bit of pop and can actually take a walk if necessary. Plus he can back-up Paulie at First.

God, I hope Ozzie doesn't f*** this kid up.... He almost seems determined to.

Gordo may only have 2 hits, but unlike Josh he doesn't look completely overmatched and is striking out every AB. He's making solid contact it's just right at people. If Paulie's on the DL I hope he we get some Brandon Allen action. I mean the only other options would be Ward or Kroeger is suppose, but I'd rather see Allen then either. I'd sure as s*** rather see Ward than Wise though as far as a lefty off the bench who can also back-up first...

If he can't stay healthy, why keep him around? His 2008 season was amazing, but I don't think it will ever be repeated cause he can't stay healthy. His wrist injury was a freak accident, but this other stuff is just nagging....

Bold Prediction: Carlos Quentin will be released before the 2011 season.

A solid bullpen is one of the hardest things to build in baseball, so trading away any of the back end of the bullpen is a mistake in my opinion, I don't care about the package you get in return, the Sox have NO ONE to fill in for them in the system. And Thornton closing games is a f***ing scary thought....

Some of you guys need to relax and just realize that nothing will change. Once you accept that, it's a lot easier.... CQ just isn't healthy this year. You may get Wise DFA'd when he comes off the DL, but once he goes back on it, and he will, it'll be Lillibridge coming back up. The Sox aren't healthy and dont have the other pieces to fill in for the wounded. You can't blame Greg Walker for that, so he ain't going anywhere....
