If he makes it to the big club he will be the first African-American since who to start for the Sox since...? I honestly can't remember the last African-American to start for them. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone easy that started only a few times, but I can't really remember...

In the past the Sox have crushed a pitcher one outing then a week later that same pitcher dominates them in return. Let's not have that happen today...

Clayton proved last year he wasn't a starter. He's an okay middle reliever but you can't count on him to go more than 4 or 5 innings before getting knocked around. He has 2 mediocre pitches that he doesn't really have good control over, how does he keep getting starts at this point?

Tomorrow's game is HUGE. It will show us what the make-up of this team is. Are they gonna be a win 7, then lose 5 of 7 team, or are they gonna keep playing hot and not let today's loss get them down... They need a 8-1 victory or something similar....

Gartrell is a prospect that just screams mid-season trade bait... And like, he'll come up for whomever we traded him to in Sept. have one good week and Soxtalk will have a collective s*** fit....

I'm watching MLB Networks Classic Seasons for 1993 (and thankfully they didn't just ignore the Sox) and at one point Rick Peterson is talking and under his name it says "White Sox Minor League Coach" I seriously don't ever remember hearing he was hired in our system. Is it true? Haha If so, where in the system is he coaching?

I just don't see the CQ equation that some of you see, how does: Mediocre to Average, then a little injury + Really Sucky, then major injury = Coming back and Mashing and Saving the offense? I'd almost say there's as big a chance him coming back would actually HURT the line-up. Especially if you have a bunch of guys clicking like Dye, Paulie, Becks, Ramirez et al. You stick Carlos back in and he strikes out or grounds into double plays killing innings and such. They just just shelve him for the season now, and hope against hope he can come back healthy in 2010. The team is doing okay with out him so far, and he wasn't exactly lighting up the world before his DL stint....
