  1. And Steve continues to ignore our observation.... haha
  2. It was nice to see Scotty hitting, weird stance or not. It worked for him. And Lexi in the 2 hole is nice.... Hopefully Ozzie keeps him there after Joey had him in his line-up... Off-Topic Steve your sig is a bit of a spoiler don't you think?
  3. I'll be there tonight! Simultaneously rooting for the Sox and avoiding Jason at all costs....
  4. Hopefully with Floyd being a head case, his win yesterday helps his confidence. But wins are wins. Sweep them tomorrow and go for 4 straight on Monday when I'm there!

If JorDanks keeps it up and has a great season at AA there is no reason to think he wouldn't come into the Spring in '10 with his eye on the starting gig in center... And be heavily considered....

Damn, Huddy has as many walks today (5) as he's had ALL season....

I'm officially aboard the "CJ Retherford replacing Josh Fields" bandwagon...
  8. I really despise Clayton's "No Stuff-Stuff", cause it might look good, sometimes even dominant in the early innings than the hitters realize he's just throwing the same 2 pitches and start whacking away....
  9. brian telling everyone there was 2 outs after he started jogging in was hilarious
  10. Even though we're playing them tonight, I really feel bad for the Pirates. They used to be such a storied franchise, and they have been just remarkably bad for so long now. They have one of the nicest, if not THE nicest new stadium in Baseball and no fans to pack it. I hope they can put together a competitive team sometime soon, I know they have Pedro Alvarez coming soon, maybe that will help...
  11. Beckham 4-5 with a HR.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ May 21, 2009 -> 02:42 PM) Couldn't agree more...now let's see what else KW has planned. nothing
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 21, 2009 -> 10:42 AM) The amount of re-posting info is insane. Did you know the White Sox won the World Series a few years ago?!
  14. Corky's socks are the greatest thing ive ever seen in my life
  15. Besides the mid-90's fastball, what else does Dexter throw?
  16. It seems like we have Allen at 1B for the near future, so I would keep flowers at C unless they can land a STUD in the draft. Then I suppose you could eventually move Allen to DH, and Flowers to first down the road if that scenario plays out
  17. seems like Flowers knows what he's doing at the plate with walks and hitting for power, staying in the minors for another season or so to work on his D can only help his hit for more average then be ready to catch for the Sox mid '10 or '11 season...
  18. Thing thing about Viciedo, which I keep forgetting, is that the Sox didn't draft him, He's only under their control for 4 years, you damn well better believe with Kenny's ego he's gonna want to get the majority of those 4 years in Chicago if at all possible.... He wants a return on his investment...
  19. I think Getz has a better chance at staying up. He's got a better approach than Josh at the plate, not to mention he's a lefty, which the Sox line-up doesnt have many of. Plus he's been stellar at second, which you can in no way say the same about Josh. I don't give Fields all that much more time to prove he's worthy before someone else takes that spot (coughDayancough)
  20. The Tank up to .265 with 26 RBI's....
  21. I'm smelling a big game for Beckham tonight....
  22. I'm not even kidding when I say, he needs AT LEAST 7-10 stars in AAA before I would even consider bringing him back up to the big club.
  23. I think the point is he wasn't throwing it out of necessity in '05-'06. It was at 96 and nasty when he threw it sporadically. Now it's at 91 and EVERY pitch and missing badly most times. I wish we had someone at his Charlotte start to see if he was dropping down every pitch or actually trying to go over the top...
  24. Jose pitching a CG in AAA means squat. Once he comes back up to the big club, he'll walk a few guys then s*** the bed throwing nothing but drop down fastballs that aren't even close...
  25. But unlike Josh, Danks is hitting .315 and getting on base at a .394 clip...
