Richard will have better control, and actually know where the ball is going when it leaves his hand unlike Jose, but he WILL get rocked right around the 4th or 5th inning, if not the 1st or 2nd.

Just say no to Richard in the rotation. It seems like he's finding a groove now in middle relief, leave him there. We all know he can only go about 4 innings before the line-ups catch up to him...

I doubt the MLB would rig the voting, cause theres no way they could justify it, or even deny it. The best case scenario is that this gets them to take him off the ballot. but of course they will leave A-Rod on it... I think there's almost no way A-Rod starts this season, but I honestly believe had the steroid stuff not come out, a-Rod would be getting the millions of votes even though he's out for the first month...

I think as the years continue to go by the man-love for Beane will start ti disappear. Cause I mean really? What did he actually accomplish? Yes he put together some great teams, but ALL of them Choked. The Choke-land A's of the early part of the decade were the best chance for them to win, and Beane's having a hell of a time finding another "big three" I honestly though the 2001 A's were gonna win it all after that ridiculous run they had in the 2nd half of the season and the fact that they man-handled the Yankees in the first 2 games of the ALDS, too bad Jeter made "TEH PLAYYY!!11!!!" and it all went downhill from there.

WSI is positive? I know I havent even been on there in many many years, but I remember it being a black hole of nothing but bitter old people (sorry to all the bitter old people here) I remember hearing one of the cotton heads, pre-2005, proclaim the Sox would win the series before the cubs, but after hell froze over. "Shiny Happy people..." Or whackjob "proven theories" about how if anything good happens to the Sox, something bad will ALWAYS happen. I honestly wonder how some of the people of the site dealt with the sox winning the World Series. Sure they were excited but also had to be a bit empty inside that they couldn't b**** about how they'll never win one....
