As much as Bob Costas wants it to be, it's not the 1960's anymore. The games aren't broadcast in black and white and pitchers can't hit PERIOD (sans like 5 guys maybe out of 350+ pitchers on MLB rosters)... DH for both leagues.

When stadiums cost $500 million and up, whats the difference adding the price of a roof at that point? It's all RIDICULOUS amounts of $$$...

I like the Judgement Day billboard. Is that a random date picked or are they assuming they'll sweep the Sox and therefore be back in the race still 10 games below .500 and possibly still in last place (depending on the Royals)

Can't believe they didn't build Target Field with a retractable roof. Or any new stadium built that isn't on the west coast...

Jeez even the MLB Network is jumping on the Twins Train... last I checked they're STILL double digit games under .500 right? I'm pretty sure most people aren't believing the Sox are even in the race, yet the Twins are? What in the past decade says the Twins can come back from so far under to win a division? They've never had to crawl out of the basement and now they have that same "on paper not as good as the White Sox/Tigers roster" they always used to win with and now they have to use that same roster to crawl back from 20 below .500... Color me skeptical until they crack the break even mark...

The interview after the last game of the A's series with Santos was pretty telling. He didn't seem nervous or pissed at himself for almost blowing another one. He was composed and calm. He seems to have the right closer's mentality, and you could see that going back to "The Club" last year. Also, he's a converted SS, which seems to help for closers for some reason haha
