I have ZERO FAITH that this organization could build up amazing young minor league talent the way it's set up now. I also have very little faith that if KW wanted to blow this team up this year the trades he would make would net the Sox anyone good (or if it did they'd just mess them up anyway) I prefer the large-ish payroll way of doing things but with a different GM and different manager. Because when has the team built mostly on an amazing farm system actually WON the World Series in recent years? I know the Twins made the playoffs so much with mostly homegrown talent, but we see how far it gets them in the playoffs. Same with the early decade A's. I don't want the Sox to become the Pirates and the Royals. Grabbing number one draft picks year in year out for 20 years....and still nothing to show for it.

Alright Red Sox, be the team that was bought and paid for in the off-season... of course they play at The Jake, even though their first series was at home as well... Ugh.

Just don't let Kemp or Ethier beat you. Everyone else on that team is average... Also, No Kershaw this series. They way their luck was earlier this season facing every ace was s***ty.

Morel not starting is pretty ridiculous. I would make a joke that Morel is white and therefor Ozzie is prone to bench him, but McPherson is white too. I'm confused. But at least, when Morel gets back into the games, his defense rhythm will be off, and he'll strike out 4 times....

Good to see JorDanks continuing to do well. Maybe they should throw him in the lead-off spot in Charlotte

Okay, we can all agree Pierre sucks and should be benched/cut/released/left in the middle of nowhere We can also agree that it's NOT going to happen. We all agree Viciedo should be playing LF for the Sox right now. So why are we surprised he was not called up? Regardless of the situation? (which I maintain has nothing to do with Viciedo, but I not gonna try and convince you guys otherwise)

It's gonna be really messed up when Ozzie benches Pierre and starts McPherson for some reason. Just to stick it to us. The reactions are hilarious though. Not benching/releasing Pierre is it's own separate problem from Teahen's injury, and to think otherwise you're just forcing yourself to be mad. They need a bench player Viciedo is a starter and also, NOT a 3rd Baseman anymore. Also, McPherson is white, so you know he wont be getting many AB's haha. Seriously though, he wont break double digits in AB's before Teahen is back up.

15 of the last 16 years under .500 and mostly in the cellar, you better have good prospects. But, seriously, call me when they all have long term success in the bigs. I'm not buying the hype unless they're over .500 by MANY games come September...

Man, the Twins being THIS bad is almost a crazier story than the Indians in first. They always have that team on paper that isn't very impressive and they would always find ways to get the best out of guys, play smart baseball under Gardy and beat up the Central division, but they are just AWFUL. They've lost 9 in a row, 15 games under .500 Just WOW... Of course they way they churn out minor leaguers I really don't want them to get a high draft pick haha

I irrationally blame Pierre for the ENTIRE offense struggling this year. It all starts at the top, right? He's the hardest working man on the team and still fails, so that messes everyone up, i think?
