  1. Please tell me they’re going to move on from Kopech. Please.
  2. Wonder what the price tag on Bummer was when there was “a lot of interest” at the deadline last year.
  3. Like, this feels worse than if they would gamble on say Montas or Severino (or signing both).
  4. I feel like adding Soroka to rotation over a gamble in free agency making ~$10M makes it feel like payroll is getting slashed even more than we expect.
  5. Again, with the non-tender deadline being tomorrow this looks more like house cleaning from Braves perspective.
  6. It was more the KC connection. Also, Jason knew what he was doing and it was obvious haha
  7. Looks like ATL was clearing some 40-man room?
  8. We’ll see
  9. No one is quitting the Sox. Relax.
  10. Did Leury play anywhere last season? Mexico? Korea? What a nice life if not. Edit: half serious here, but bring him back for a bench role since we are paying him anyway lol
  11. I don't think it would be a sign. Anytime you can add young talent you should, rebuilding or not.
  12. And honestly, getting a whole country of Marquee subscribers would pay for the contract itself. Along with other people around the world with interest.
  13. Yeah, I don't really like banking on first year rookies to be immediate impacts.
  14. Yeah it seems like if you keep Cease, you gotta sign 2 (maybe even 3) mid-rotation/bounce back candidate arms. Trading Cease just opens another spot.
  15. Nick Williams as well lol Edit: Although, I admit, I would have rather seen like 3 weeks of Nick Williams if it meant getting the extra year of control of Vaughn.
  16. I don’t think I’d go as far as to say “more” to be honest. It depends.
  17. Well yeah, there’s usually movement before that deadline. Rays usually make a few trades.
  18. If they don’t have to be added yet, there’s no point.
  19. "What is your spaghetti policy?"
  20. Yeah, Thompson may not survive on a team's MLB roster for a full season.
  21. Sheets, Remillard, Navarro, Padilla, Perez (once they have more catching depth). Non-tender Foster and bring back on a MiLB deal.
  22. I think for now you just gotta pencil him into the leadoff spot opening day (where it seemed like he was doing fine) and Robert in the 2-spot and adjust accordingly.
  23. Fine with me. I think there's a few other guys we wouldn't mind losing. We may even open spots by trading Cease and Bummer (if there was legit interest at the deadline, maybe try to move him now too).
