Ha, losing by within 2 usually feels like a punted game. -

Fixed. And thanks. We were all just wondering how Collins was doing. -

Hmmmmmmmm I wonder who's fault that is. It could be the guy that seems to get a free pass and a million excuses for. -

Yeah just DH him and fill in at 3B until Eloy comes back. Then try him at 2B. But honestly, Eloy may never come back. -

IL him please. -
If Moncada is truly hurt (and Grandal for that matter), please IL them and roll with Burger and Carlos Perez. And bring them back slowly. I know it sucks not having their lefty bats but it does you no good if they are both massively underperforming.
-
I'll take Vaughn in the OF over Eloy all day.
-
The guy can’t even run. Full time DHing him will do nothing to keep him on the field.
-
Nobody: ..... Absolutely nobody: ....... Caulfield: Well the Padres (insert statement here)
-
I think he's referring to the competitive window trades: Pilkington for Cesar, Kimbrel deal etc.
-
Yep...should have played the same lineup as Tuesday but with these changes: 1. Mendick SS 2. Vaughn RF 3. Robert CF 4. Abreu 1B 5. Burger DH 6. Grandal C 7. Pollock LF 8. Moncada 3B 9. Garcia 2B What is wrong with trying to use as close to a similar lineup as you can every night? Bat the guys who are hot in a row.

Roster Crunch: Burger, Sheets, Mendick, Harrison, Garcia
Bob Sacamano replied to CentralChamps21's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Yeah they've got to try him out at 2B. He can DH until Eloy comes back. Harrison and Sheets are the ones who have to go. -
And to the people who say "Tony has forgotten more about the game than you people will ever know!"...it's not exactly the compliment you think it is.
-
Honestly, instead of guaranteeing $22 mill between Garcia and Harrison, they might as well have just signed Escobar for 2 years $18.5 mill.
-
He would be in the lineup regularly at different positions giving guys rest. And your reasoning does not support why he should be leading off.
-
LOL You carry that water!

Last year, LaRussa was getting lucky on a lot of those questionable decisions. Like hitting a .180 Jake Lamb 3rd and then he hits a homer.

Put Burger at 2B (or call up Yolbert and make Butger primary DH with Sheets going down). -

What’s wrong with using the same lineup from yesterday minus a couple obvious changes? -

He absolutely should be over Harrison. -

Thank you for putting in a lefty. No one here doubts the team’s ability to hit against lefties. -

So fucking bad -
Sosa and Sanchez could help Sox this year
Bob Sacamano replied to DirtySox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I’ll take my chances with him over Harrison.
