No, it's not yet their search is always a joke. Honestly, AJP says he's open to manage, is already collecting a paycheck from the team, and is a Sox legend. He's got the makings to be the next Sox manager (by Jerry's book).
A lot of stuff is LaRussa's fault but this isn't one of them. If he comes and pitches in a tie game Saturday or Sunday I'm sure the result is the same.
Looking at Moncada (second full season in MLB) and Jimenez's (rookie year) 2019 seasons, wtf.
Edit: still focusing on core guys, TA had a great year.
Edit 2: I do remember thinking at the time that it was weird timing to let the hitting coach go/walk.
Makes sense. They use different relievers based on if they are winning or down by 2 or more it seems.
Edit: having checked this, Foster has been worse at home. But nothing I side earlier changes.
I’m good with it for now. Honestly if you’re not gonna bat Moncada like 7/8th consistently and you think he’s hurt, IL him.
At some point you gotta stop caring about what a guy was ranked as a prospect and actually play the guys are playing well.
Someone here posted about how a lot of guys seem too comfortable on this team and they should deal someone next offseason to sort of send a message to everyone else (@bmags maybe?). I feel like dealing Eloy for nothing would accomplish that, not that I support it as there is still room for everyone.
I guess my next question would be which kinda crypto to buy. I know of Doge (which I actually bought at one time and sold quickly because I was sick of watching the .000001 changes). I wish I held onto that one for when it really took off.
