Sox usually don't so I sort of expect him on the roster day 1. If that is the case, then it was dumb not to call him up this August. Don't mind if they do wait the couple weeks considering it's like what, 15 games? Still annoyed they didn't just keep Vaughn down considering he played like 5-6 games in those few weeks needed anyway.

Brian Anderson wishes his first 2 seasons in the majors were as good as Vaughn's. Let's see how Vaughn holds up over a full year not playing out of position before talking about "how bad he is."

I'm good gambling on him if he signs for 1 year in the $10-12 mill range. I would expect payroll to be around where it was last year so not really hoping for Brandon Nimmo at this point.

They don't have a problem of him being a bad OF but my point still remains that he doesn't seem to have a problem with mostly being a DH.

Yordan Alvarez seems to have no issue mostly DHing. And he's the same age as Eloy. He probably would have DH'd even more the past couple years if it wasn't for having Brantley and then having both Gurriel and Mancini most of the second half in 2022.

I agree, I think Harris is a legit candidate. He's just getting flack for being a former player. He has at least managed in the Sox minors and has been coaching at the MLB level.
