    Oh yeah, pitching isn’t a very bright spot at the moment. And they’ve sent down 40% of their OD rotation in the last couple of weeks, including the OD starter. Needs a lot of work this offseason.

    If you believe neither one can hit enough to play 1B, I guess it makes sense to deal one if you can get like an OF or something you need of equal value.

    Yeah, when that option gets picked up, I expect him to be the starting CF in 2026. I don't think any team will offer more than they were in July. I hope I am wrong.

    It made sense to non-tender him when they did. Did not make sense to not QO him after that one great year when he was a free agent.

    We sorted it out. They non-tendered him after 2020 when his era was over 8. Didn’t offer QO in 2021.

    Rodon wasn’t good the year they non-tendered him. Are you talking about the QO? If so, you’re bringing back enraged feelings of why they didn’t offer a QO at the time.

    Agreed, no matter how he finishes. I think it’s more likely he’s our CF next year than traded in the offseason.

    That's why people are saying the Friday off after the opener (the whole reason why they do that is incase OD is PPD) is weird.
