Sox, Cubs, Brewers, Twins paired together in future?
Bob Sacamano replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
This is probably the best suggestion. Keep the AL and NL. -

You want the pitchers to hit, but you think that leads to more hits? Huh? -

I actually really don't hate it. Just want more of a balanced schedule I guess. -
They should definitely travel and play at all the empty stadiums during the 2027 lockout. We'll only have that and MiLB (minus 40-man guys).
-
I had some friends buy tickets to both games. They made 5x their money.
-
Where would he play? You'd probably need both Benintendi and Tauchman to hit the IL to open up a spot.
-
Both guys kinda feel like platoon guys at best guys
-
ok
-
Agreed. The guys here like Burke, Smith, Martin will throw more innings than they ever have in a season.
-
I agree that they would need the help if Civale was traded. He wasn't.
-
Yikes. To be fair, if they want to sign/work with him again, they can sign him in the offseason. I hope they aim higher though.
-
Come on just one more out and then score some runs for him.

Sox trade Andrew Vaughn to acquire Aaron Civale

I guess we got innings out of Civale but really wish he was moved for anything 2 weeks ago. Could just claim guys to fill innings. -

I hate that he didn't work as hard here and don't really care how he does going forward but I love love love that he is currently making my Cubs fan friends miserable. So thank you for that, Andrew. -
Man I don’t think that ball would have gone out without his help
-
Get in front of that
-
I'd still rather see Vargas get most of his PT at 3B but overall, pretty solid lineup to watch.

Yoendrys Gomez Up, Vargas Back, Julks DFAed, Elvis down

So he's just an opener for a regular starter or is it another bullpen game? -

I figured Rojas was the logical one to go. Or Mead for regular at bats. So many IF options and not enough spots for consistent playing time, as well as the catchers, Benintendi, and Tauchman seeing time at the DH spot. Vargas, Sosa, Colson, Baldwin, Mead, Amaya, Rojas. -
Yep, easily the best from that group.

Tigers vs White Sox at Rate Field 8-11-25.

Especially for a guy who struggled for over a year in the minors
