I was at my last job for a year and 8 months. Job before that, 6 months but that was because they relocated my department to Columbus and I rejected a move there.
I've been with a company for about 5 months now and I'm not really feeling the company nor the job. Is it ok to start looking for something else? I'm not sure I can do ~2 years at this place. I'm an accountant who is thinking about going into a financial analyst role.
Honestly if they miss out on Machado, the Yankees should have interest in Lowrie or Murphy. You can shift Lowrie to 3B or Murphy to 1B when Didi comes back (assuming he will be back at SS).
Yeah it does seem like the perfect opportunity to strike and sign both since you're not competing with the big spenders (Red Sox, Cubs, Yankees and Dodgers to an extent) . And it even sounds like Yankees will have a limit on Machado.
Gotta be less than La Stella was projected to make right? Otherwise it doesn't make sense as Descalso doesn't appear to be a backup SS (like LaStella).
Moncada 2B
Machado 3B
Harper RF
Abreu 1B/DH
Alonso DH/1B
Eloy LF
Castillo C
Anderson SS
Engel CF
Bench: McCann C, Yolmer IF, Garcia IF/OF, Palka 1B/OF
Maybe switch Anderson and Moncada depending on if Moncada is struggling.
Marwin mostly played LF last year so now they have Brantley for that. They also picked up Diaz for a bench role and are shifting Gurriel into the "every day utility man" role.
