I think they hope he has another 2-3 WAR season in hope of dealing him to a contender in need of a 2B (or just IF depth in general) in June/July. But besides that, most, if not everyone, here want Rondon in the lineup.

And how many former Sox farmhands are awful or out of the game completely? Literally every team has their former prospects sprinkled around the league doing well.

Everything is magnified at the beginning of the season since it is so fresh. We're talking 2-3 starts for these guys as we sit here on April 12th.

Watching games that are close to 4 hours are miserable as well. When I was younger, I didn't mind getting to the ballpark really early to catch opponent's batting practice. So unless it is a giveaway that I want, I make sure I get there like 5 mins before first pitch/walk in during first inning.

I'm not going to worry over a 3-game sample size (with any of our guys). Ask me again in the summer. Edit: same goes on the hitting side after only 2 weeks.

Yeah easily the 3 worst in the bunch. And the second Thor introduces one of the Infinity Stones so it's kind of a shame it's just meh at best. Edit: I'm actually not a fan of the solo Iron Man movies in general. Easily my least favorite franchise in the series (like Iron Man as a character though).

Yeah if he builds any sort of track record, he probably will be hard to extend (Boras client). I don't actually think they will extend him either if that is the case. I just am not sure you're going to get a lot for him trading him this year unless he just straight dominates up until the trade deadline.

Maybe not this year for Rodon. Let him build a track record first (if he has a great , healthy 2019) and depending on how they are doing mid-way through the season next year, I think about extending him. If he's not extended at that point, deal him for one last haul.
