  1. BUT BARSTOOL HATES WOMEN!
  2. The Sox have an incredible roster and are firing on all cylinders. Every Sox fan hopes that continues. Some feel LaRussa has made multiple inexcusable, very avoidable mistakes early in the season and are worried those mistakes could emerge when it really matters. I gave the Cody Parkey example about 30 pages back. So when @VAfan asks if the "TLR bashers are unhappy that the Sox are winning?" I feel it's appropriate to ask if he's trolling....because I really don't think it's that confusing to figure out. Maybe I'm giving too much credit to people.
  3. I truly can't tell if you're trolling or if you really can't figure it out.
  4. The absolute WORST is when they stop cutting your hair to really make their point when they are having a conversation with you. I'll entertain my barber with some small talk, but when he stops cutting to finish his story, that's when I have an issue.....keep cutting, I got places to be.
  5. I was told LaRussa "has these guys ready to play!"
  6. I wish Liam Hendricks was better at pitching.
  7. If I was a fan of another team, Jose Abreu would be so fucking annoying lol
  8. This team is just firing on all cylinders right now. Been awesome to watch over the last 10 days
  9. Just stop pitching to him. No one has hit Keuchle harder than Cruz. The Twins suck. Just pitch around him, especially with two outs.
  10. It’s terrifying I’ve been posting here since 2003
  11. WE CAN'T HAVE THE DH IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE, PITCHERS NEED TO HIT!

  13. The Sox have done a fairly good job of that thus far. They need to step on these bastards necks this series. The Twins have been an absolute dumpster fire but we all know it won't stay that way the entire year. Just doesn't happen with that squad. Take advantage now, bank away these wins now.
  14. He said in his presser that he told Hendricks "Don't take any chances, no sliding, just play it safe" It still doesn't explain the Garcia SB at all in the same inning, but I would tend to guess that if you had an "actual" baserunner at 3rd, Tony may have called for the squeeze with Hamilton at the dish. Instead Garcia got the steal sign (?!?!?!), thrown out, now Hendricks is sitting on 3rd with two outs and Hamilton at the plate. It's absolutely a big deal, but you have a few groups on here that just don't want to get into it. The LaRussa Loyalists, the Positivity Police and the "I don't really watch the games but I'm going to give my opinion anyway!" crowd.

God I hated Mike Sweeney so much. Dude was SUCH a pain in the ass on what were almost always awful Royals teams...
  16. Here is what you can’t seem to understand. I’ll try and make it simple for you. Me being critical of Tony LaRussa doesn’t mean I think I could be a better baseball manager. Have you ever criticized a baseball player for his performance? If so...does that mean you think you can play better than him? There are 30 MLB Manager jobs. They aren’t easy to come by. Because they are so limited, I think it’s fair to have high expectations for the performance in said position. When someone in that position is continually making mistakes that an amateur can notice while they are happening..that deserves ridicule. Two things can be true at once. Tony LaRussa has won a lot of baseball games as a manager. He’s also making a lot of bad decisions for the White Sox at 76 years old. If you can’t deal with that, I can’t help you.
  17. Good call @caulfield12 lol
  18. lol, I don't know if I've ever deleted someone's thread, but no one can stir the pot like you, ron. I do give you credit for that lol.
  19. Right, it would be a giant undertaking to "fix it." Jack is right in the sense from a geography perspective, it would be a cool location for the Sox to play, no doubt. But from any sort of logistical standpoint it would be an absolute nightmare. I know numerous people that simply won't go to Bears games anymore. It's just too much of a pain in the ass to get there, and then get out. After doing it 4-5 times over a two year period, I totally understand the frustration.
