The only lower OPS’ in yesterday’s lineup were Quero and Acuna, who play premium positions. I don’t think Sosa sucks, but he’s definitely was not one of only guys hitting.

Someone will draft him ahead of the Sox and he doesn’t have much leverage to turn down a slot deal.

Personally not sure what to make of this deal. I think there’s probably an inflated opinion of Sosa’s value around here, but hard to get excited about Rich. I do like they took a shot on upside, though. Anyways, I like Sosa. Wish him well.
