  1. Yep. Stinky turds gotta be flushed eventually. Flushed but not forgotten.
  2. Yeah these were glaringly poor decisions in the moment.
  3. “I was confident he’d get the third out. When Ramos came up to bat and after that, I was confident he’d get the last out and the score would be 2-2. It was his inning,” La Russa said. “That’s my fault for not recognizing [he was tired] because I looked at it, ‘He walked the leadoff guy and gets two outs.’ At that point, I gotta say I was confident he’d get the third out.” I actually don’t think he knew how many outs there were. I really don’t understand it. What is he looking at? How is he THIS bad?
  4. I gotta give him credit, never knew the old guy had such a good sense of humor.
  5. Never good when the other team makes 5 errors and you walk away embarrassed. Poor performance all around.
  6. In his day guys trolled for all 9 innings. None of this 6 inning malarkey.
  7. His name is Green Line so maybe it’s sarcasm?
  8. His bat should be fine. The lack of pop limits his upside, which isn’t really debatable, but doesn’t mean he can’t be valuable. What’s going to separate him from being just a serviceable starter to a good one is if his defense can take a step forward. He’s looked better lately so I’m encouraged.
  9. Twitter is a toilet
  10. Kopech needs a nickname.
  11. I really hate this place sometimes.
  12. My first thought, and I’m going to guess it paints a brighter picture. Not to say it isn’t a concern in terms of approach, but I think the capability is certainly there to keep pitchers honest.
  13. Pinch running for Donaldson in the top of the 10th really came back to bite them. The guy who pinch ran for him made error number 1. Arraez, taking over his spot at third, made error number 2.
  14. And baby...we’re the cleanest c***s in town...
  15. He got hit hard in the 8th too. Just needs to hit his spots a little better.
  16. Heuer hit hard today. Even the outs were solid contact.
  17. Not sure if “so hittable” is accurate. I’d go with “less unhittable” lol
  18. Kind of curious they’ve been talking about getting that extra 1 out the following inning for relievers and starters, yet they don’t bring Marshall back out after an easy inning, and bring in a lefty to face luplow. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.
  19. I’ve met cal quantrill’s dad, Paul, few times. Kind of a doucher. Called frank thomas “the big skirt”. So I’m enjoying this.
  20. Not sure if Rosario is out there if yermin’s still in the game. That 90 year old man who took his place really stretched out.
  21. Whoever said that would be the high guy on him. Solid 3’s have a ton of value.
  22. That has to be the slowest major league pitch I’ve ever seen...
  23. Mendick has tripled Gio’s swings and misses I think.
  24. Did that guy just lean into a HBP with a position player pitching? That’s so weak.
