JFC Bonemer is a strikeout machine.

I realize it’s a very small sample size, and all the caveats that come with it…but Kelenic’s baseball savant page is still fun.

Any mention of his velocity dip? I didn’t get a chance to see the broadcast, but just following on gameday his 4-seamer was down to 92mph.

I wonder if he just needs reps against easier competition. If he’s trying out some new stuff and isn’t completely comfortable with it yet, it’s going to be hard to succeed against mlb pitching and might just result in bad habits being developed.
