I don’t get this at all. Do you even tender Doyle a contract next year? They must have something in mind.

This trade looks really bad.

I can’t imagine it’s very much return. He’s a non tender candidate.

I guess Doyle goes down to make room for Hays.

I think they want a platoon partner for him. I figured it would be Pereira, but maybe they don’t like him in cf.

I think he’s hurt so at least we won’t have to face him this week.

I also think they’ll want to keep one catcher up who is familiar with the staff. Hard to have two totally new catchers mid-season.

Just a gut feeling that our biggest trade hasn’t happened yet.

Boston just swept the dodgers. Should be a tough series. No Tolle or Bennett, though.

Guessing more like Ray or Rogers, but who the hell knows.

If they add another starter I think they go lefty.

Seems like they gave up actual value to take on an underwater contract. Not a fan of this deal, but Castillo could certainly change my mind.
