Bad game for Eloy tonight.

I came here to post the same thing. I'm impressed with him so far.

I'd pull the plug on Despaigne now. Have Fulmer start the 3rd.

I'd rather have Santiago start than Despaigne. They both stink though.

Lopez actually wasn't that bad. I'll take that performance from him every time.

Collins swing reminds me a lot of Josh Hamilton and Brian McCann.

I still don't think Moncada is fully healthy.

Luke Jackson blew another save for the Braves tonight. They desperately need a closer. Could be a good match in terms of a Colome trade if the Sox decide to listen to offers.

I'm not sure. But both are on rebuilding teams so they probably could be had for the right deal.

I love lefty pitchers. The Sox could really use one given the uncertainty of Rodon.

The Sox scored 10 runs last night. Yonder Alonso wasn't in the lineup last night. Coincidence? I think not.

Giolito should have never pitched this inning.

Anderson didn't even try to hit that to the right side. Smh.

I still don't know if the Sox should move Colome, but if they do, the Braves could be a good fit. Luke Jackson is currently their closer and I'm sure they would like to upgrade that spot. And they have a good farm system too.

Why isn't Collins getting Yonder's at-bats at this point? He could at least be a consequential player moving forward. Alonso serves absolutely no purpose.

They could be in a much better position because they didn't get Machado, but I just can't get my hopes up that the Sox will sign any notable free agents until proven otherwise based on what happened last offseason.

I have no expectations for them to sign anyone good in free agency at this point. This past offseason crushed any hope I ever had for this front office to do the right thing.

Sadly it wouldn't surprise me if they spent $40M on bargain bin players again like they did this past offseason.

I just don't see them paying up for Cole, which is why I mentioned Wood. But obviously I would prefer Cole.

Anyone else think Alex Wood might be a nice fit? He's been injured all year but he's solid when healthy. And he's also left handed and would cost a fraction of what Cole will get.
