I like your thinking Steff. I'm not worried at all. I know this is a good team and I know they are going to be there. Remember how the Angels started last year. I'm not too worried either..... but this is the same crap we saw in 2001 and 2002. Something needs to happen and happen fast. We don't want to get too far behind the 8-ball too early.

I recommend El Conejo off of the 5 free way in Irvine for those in SoCal. Great food, cheaper then cheap prices. What about the free chips and salsa?

Well said Roman. I knew you had it in you. However, you may just want to take a page out of my book and ignore the "sideshow." After he compared 09/11 to the Iraq War, I told myself I wouldn't discuss politics with him anymore. I just scroll up when I see his avatar and skip to a post not authored by the "sideshow." On a sidenote, I was watching CNN and they aired a press conference with Iraqi Foreign Minister Tariq Aziz. He suggested the US be brought up on War Crimes, that the War with Iraq was illegal, that Bush and the United States were the real threat to the world, that the US and British media claims were all fabrications..... get where I'm going with this Roman?

If you want kick ass Mexican food, especially breakfasts (I recommend the Chorizo con Huevos), go to TacoMex on 107th and Torrence. Reasonably priced and free chips and salsa with every meal
-
Vice versa for me. I'd kill him if I saw him at a Sox/Cub game.

I could give a rats ass where Taco Hell gets their tomatoes from. I boycott them because their food is horses***..... the absolute worst of the fast food chains :puke

Very classy. I buy alot of stuff from Sears. I'm gonna make sure I buy alot more from there too.

DDA is the only Sox game that homeless crackhead Ronnie "Woo-Woo" Wickers goes to..... so specify what you're smelling if you're sitting downwind
-
He lives on the Northside..... I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count.
-
Yes. The closest Gaffenino came to laying the bunt down was on a 2-0 count, he bunted the ball about 20 ft down the line before it went foul.

Where did you get this info from? It is a proven fact that enough of any drug will impair motorskills, speech, and sight just to name a few for a period of time. It is also a proven fact that enough of any drug, over an extended period of time, will have damaging and lasting effects..... that goes for alcohol, to pot, to the truly hardcore drugs. And, did you know, that one joint has 3 times as much tar and cancer causing carcinogens contained within it than a cigarette does? While I am for the legalization of pot, to say that marijuana has no effect on you, short-term or long-term, is naive at best.

Starting pitching, IMHO, hasn't been bad the first two losses..... a bright spot if you need to find one. But, as Showtime said, when the hell is the offense going to wake up?
-
It's not just today. JM has been f***ing up since the second-half of 2000. We've seen what happened today for the last 2+ seasons. If it happens in the second game of '03, why would you think the tides would change suddenly with JM?
-
That's a surprise

Here's a suggestion from a Sox fan for the Home Opener..... WIN GOD DAMNIT!!!!!
-
Not hardly..... do you live in Chicago? Have you seen the press that the Cubs are getting after one win on Opening Day saying that Dusty Baker has turned this team around? Saying Cub fans are realistic is like saying ShamME Soso has class.
-
Maybe he'll do SoxDom a favor and "walk away from the game" if the White Sox get swept to start the '03 campaign against the Royals :fyou JM
-
Whatever his final numbers are, one thing is for sure..... we need a big pick'em up from Jon tomorrow..... no doubt about it.
-
We'll see how good they are when they play a team that they can't out-score or out-manage..... that could be anyone but the White Sox

from what i understand, (my sox friend told me) the next phase of the remodeling in the off season were supposed to see new things done to the upper deck and a homerun porch over by left field..... In left-field? I'd figure it would be in right-field. Whatever works....it works for me. The plans I saw had a HR porch in RF and a new Grand Entrance on 35th and Wentworth. Considering the overpass on 35th over the Dan Ryan is being painted silver and black, I'd buy more into the HR porch being in RF..... but that's just me.

Red, Josh Paul has been giving catching tips at Soxfest the past few years. Those who can't, teach. That's the mantra of college professors
-
Your point is not without merit. But..... having Gaffenino attempt to bunt with two strikes with a runner on first and nobody out is bad managing. Not to mention the fact that after the count went 2-0 Manuel should have told Gaffenino to wait until he throws a strike before attempting another bunt. Bunting on 2-0 when the pitcher can't find the plate and bunting with 2 strikes is the managers decision..... plain and simple. JM blew any chance the Sox had.

Let's start a JERRY MANUEL DEATH WATCH thread. f***ing asshole :fyou
