We never tried with a dial up connection. We can try, as long as someone has a laptop we can borrow. I might be able to get my hands on one. And some Chicago hotels have highspeed connections in the rooms. I wonder if the Hyatt is one of them. You might have to spend a little more on a room, but it would be worth it.

I assume he goes back to Venezuela because of his family. If that's the case, he should try to bring them over here like ShamME has done with the Soso clan. With all the crime reportedly going on in Venezuela, I hope Maggs has been advised against carrying $20,000 in a plastic bag.

I can think of alot of things you would be better off spending your hard earned money on than a team that has no intention of bettering itself. But didn't Rauch tear his labrum early on in 2001..... after Nardi and company "worked" with him in ST? I vaguely remember Rauch being batted around early on for the 2001 season as the 5th starter after his success in the Olympics and the arm problems that effected Eldred.

Garland is a hopefully..... as in hopefully he will find some consistency. Garland has the stuff..... he needs to bring it with him EVERY game. Wright is a big "if." "If" he can pitch the way some think he can, he'd be a solid number 2 or 3 on most teams. Rauch isn't even a lock to make the team and Biddle could go the way of starter or reliever. How anyone can be confident about our pitching, besides every 5 days when Buehrle goes out to the mound, puzzles me.

How can a comeback in SEPTEMBER epitomize the 2000 White Sox season????? Yeah, a comeback that late in the season is good, but, up until the Abbott HR against the Twins or, and I can buy this moment of epitomy even more, the brawl against Detroit, the White Sox season could have gone either way. The Abbott HR and the brawl brought the White Sox together early on in 2000 to make winning the division, and winning the game in Anaheim, possible.

If Selig makes this happen the primadonna's and Selig will realize that there will HAVE to be a winner..... no matter how many innings the game ends up going.

Unless that move plays a big part in bringing us a pennant or World Series win. But who would this idiot give up in an attempt to bring "us a pennant or World Series win?" KW is in way over his head. It frightens me to think what KW would be willing to give up to land a Colon.

Hypothetically..... if KW did trade a Todd Ritchie or a Jim Parque straight-up for a Bartolo Colon..... I'd give him his props. But 1.) that will never happen and 2.) KW trading for Colon will likely result in us STILL getting the s***ty end of the stick PLUS paying for one or more of our players-traded remaining salaries. So..... YOU'RE RIGHT! I'D STILL f***ING RIP HIM! One possibly good trade doesn't make up for all the damage, IMHO, that Kenny the Asshole has done.

That was a great moment in WS history. The moment that epitomized the 2000 White Sox..... at least for the first 162 games..... IMO.
